This thing rips! Just decided to pick up a Hyper VS with the hyper .30 turbo engine, heard its finicky and quite thirty but I really wanted the bigger big block lmao. Great video as always 👍
Hi dude, i ordered my 1/16 acme nitro buggy 2 months ago and itnfinally came and then indid the the break in procedure and on the 2nd tank the buggy would not not move whatsoever, only if u went to full throttle thenwheels would move slightly and imnreally pissednoff right now becsuse incant use it. Contacted nitrotek where i bought it from now waiting on there advice, would they send me a new one or not? Because its getting on my nerves, took me a whole hour to bind the controller to the reciever becsuse thencontroller had no bind button and then thisnissue comes along
To be honest with you the best thing you can do is sell that car on eBay and cut your losses, and then save up n' buy something like the Hyper 7. Some of the ACME cars are good (Warrior, Barbarian, etc), But the NB16 is a very old platform and is just a nightmare. I'm not sure what Nitrotek will say but they are unlikely to send you a new one
Hello, great video. That looks like the Hyper 21 engine. Could you please tell me the factory default for the LSN? I think there’s a typo in the manual because it says to turn it flush with the ball collar then unscrew by only 1/2 turn. It appeared to be much further out than that when it came brand new. If you could that would be much appreciated as mine won’t start now and I’m not sure whether it’s too rich or lean. Thanks.
This one is the .28 6 Port engine, the only factory setting I know is the one in the manual which seems to work for me, the engine should definitely start with the settings printed in the manual
I can't find your hyper ST reviwe/bashing I could find only the SS. I'm on the verge of buying either hyper 7 or ST, now the catch is there is no stock of ST anywhere only 7s available, any tips 🙂

I set the trim so there is a mm gap but when I adjust the idle (lsn) nothing changes it’s still idling very high. I have been adjusting this and the hsn at 1/8 turns and still no luck. Is there anything you suggest I change? Thanks
The idle and LSN are two seperate things. It sounds like your Low speed needle could be too lean. Set the idle gap at 1mm and then richen out your low speed needle
I’ve had my hyper 7 two years still in the box can never get running properly. I messed with the settings when I was doing the running in process. It takes ages to try and get it to run then when it does start just cuts out
Depends really I mean there's ups and downs for nitro. Ups: Sound, feel, tuning and building Downs: hot, messy, more chances to break (that can also be a Up if you like fixing stuff) also you have a chance for the car to run away if you lose signal. Nitro and electric are both good its really just a preference. I personally like both and both have positives and negatives. (All of this is my opinion)
My hyper 7 has the cops pull starter I want to upgrade to electric start I don’t want to use a starter box but ever one I see says not compatible for hyper cops , please could u help me out please I’m looking for the same one your using in this vid

My first nitro was a hyper 7. Upgraded the motor to a novarossi p5 and it was nuts, after seeing this kinda with I never sold it. Wicked buggies.

Take the pullstart of get the right size socket use a drill 👍

yes I meant SS. They are very similar
Them drill starts are too damn tedious. You have to bring it and extra batteries and charger so I just use a pullstart
pullstarts are a pain in the ass the cord snaps and you keep forking out more and more money to buy another bloody pullstart there crap
I've changed most of mine to drill and box start. Box start is so much easier and would have all my cars that way.
Pullstart is my favourite :)

They're not compatible, but I fitted one anyway and haven't had any issues - but plenty of people have had problems with it. fit at your own risk!
