Good video Josh enjoyed watching. I replaced the glow plug on my torro today to a b4 hot running 20% nitro winter is coming done a pinch test first it cut at 4seconds then once it was a little warmer 5 to 6 seconds think tuning is ok now runs fine starts first time once warm.👍
Hi I have a 1/10 cyclone pro nitro, I was driving it fast and lost control and crashed it ( not very hard ) and now when I Rev it the revs go high but the car won’t move it will move for a second or two but the just stop and just give high revs, also I noticed when I Rev it I can hear very loud slipping noises from the centre spurs but can’t make out what it actually is if you could help??? It’s a two speed
@@TheRCBiker rip. Will probably strip again. Diff shimming isn't as important on a nitro as an electric as the torque is much less, but if it's a long way off it will still break the gears. Looks like it had 2 on one side and none on the other. I suspect it's supposed to have one on each side.
How come you broke this in 6th tank the gear quality is worst for this VRX buggy i had the electric version of this same buggy and i also broke the gears very quickly aftet purchase so what is the fix for this problem i check parts there is one gear which is metal gear but little bit expensive than the original one planning to buy one
The gears are already metal, it could be due to a lack of grease in the diff. Or more likely is just the quality of the diffs. Since replacing it this new one is still running fine, no problems.
Hello! I started with nitros rc with these one, made break in and tune up thanks to the videos!! I broke the center differential, I live and spain and I'm having a hard time finding pieces for this model. Can you help me on this one? 😉 cheers mate. Also thinking if maybe a 2 speed upgrade is possible?!

Still sounds loud. Mesh needs adjustment, add shims or move those two around. Thanks for sharing.
You didn't discuss shimming, which is possibly the cause of the problem in the first place.

Looks like diff shims were on the wrong side.
Before or after rebuild?

I was wondering why he didn't try and detect why the gears were stripping. Just rebuilding it won't keep the issue from recurring.

I've never had diff issues with my hyper 7 but I crashed a wltoys a959b and split the diff in half then just glued it back together lol

Don't get too worried about temps as long as it's running well

No no no. Those strings are brittle af. If it fits, and you replace the string before you install, that's your best bet
Do you know what the cause was ,was it to much side play in diff housing or just cheap monkey metal .
I would say just cheap monkey metal! The mesh seemed ok to me
