Much agreed with this video. It took many years of reading Torah and also reading the rest of the Old Testament to understand. There’s so many modern teachings that are askew. Unfortunately everyone will never agree on a subject like this, but this viewpoint has way more scriptural evidence than people realize.

Same!! But people really don’t like to hear it, and are resistant to the point of anger whenever I’ve brought it up. It’s such a deeply-ingrained doctrine.
Please don't, for your sake. Instead go and sit down with a genuine believer and minister who can go through the scripture with you in private and not openly as it may be humiliating depending on you. This is heresy. Would you be as kind to explain Mark 9:48 to me please?

But when man sinned in the garden, sin became a curse on us, sin is "rebellion", and whom was the first being to "rebel"? Lucifer, aka "Satan".... And because we ourselves "Rebel" in sin, we receive that same punishment as those that first rebelled before us. But fear not! He left us a way out through Christ Jesus, our savoir. Hi Lex, very well done video and a good thorough explanation of terms and translations. Scriptures do not contradict Scripture. The only contradictions are those caused by translations and translators with agendas.
@6724 Revelation 14:9-11 says explicitly: "Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; *and he WILL be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have NO rest day and night,* those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name." And we are warned about removing any of the prophecy of *this book* specifically. Revelation 22:18-19 "I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book; *and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy,* God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book." Crazy no one gave this man the gospel. We aren’t saved by trying hard or begging God to forgive us. Salvation is a free gift purchased for us by the blood of Jesus. We are saved by grace through faith and that not of ourselves it is the gift of God. He literally calls it a free gift and the only thing required to receive it is believing He did it for you. And it is a fact He did it for all of us. “ God so loved the world He gave His only Son and WHOEVER believes/ trusts in Him will not perish but have eternal life”. Literally that simple. But Satan has been twisting Gods word from the beginning and a lot of folks have fallen for it. Repenting of sins is not required and making Jesus Lord is not required. If man is required to do something or to stop doing something then salvation is conditional and can no longer be considered a free gift. “ therefore being justified by faith we have peace with God” Faith alone in Christ alone apart from ANYTHING else. Simply believe and you are saved
The rich man is in Hades which isn't the final judgement (lake of fire). Also, many scholars believe that the story shouldn't be taken literally but should be taken as a parable based on historical and Biblical factors.
If the wicked are burned up and destroyed rather than existing forever in a place of punishment, then that would help explain passages that say that all the earth will worship and pledge allegiance to Jesus, since those who refused to follow him were destroyed.
Penalty for sin is death....Jesus says this many times.....fear not man who can destroy the Body but fear God who can destroy the Body and soul...there is no life outside of Gods presence.....we are not immortal we are created...destruction may take longer for son than other....but like Jonna was swallowed by a fish forever ..or 2 days..this I believe
Some scriptures seem to support this viewpoint, but there are still others which contradict, such as Matthew 25:46, Revelation 20:10, Luke 16:19-31, and Revelation 14:9-11. How do you explain Mark 9:48: "Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched"?
“As they leave, they will see the dead bodies of those who have rebelled against me;a for their worm will never die, their fire will never go out, and they will be a horror to all humanity.” Isaiah 66:24 mark 9:48 is refrencing this... it clearly describes dead people.. not people burning forever. thats one of them covered ;)
Satan is thrown into the abyss (bottomless pit) during the 1000 year reign, not Sheol. Then he’s released to tempt the nations and then later thrown into the lake of fire.
Paul never said to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. This is commonly misquoted by the Christian church. Read it again. He says “I’d RATHER be absent from the body AND be present with the Lord.” Big difference. Hope this helps. Shalom
It’s absolutely incredible how much of modern Christianity is based on the fanfiction of a medieval Italian poet rather than the plain, black-and-white text of their own holy book.
“And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”” Matthew 25:46 NKJV Very clear Scripture that indicates that there IS indeed an eternal dwelling place where humans are punished forever. The existence of an eternal hell in the sense of eternal suffering in specific place is very real, this is why we as believers MUST preach the gospel of Jesus Christ so that all would come to know Him!
The “wages of sin is death”, not eternal torture. Words like “perish”, “consumed”, “destroyed”, and “second death” are used of those who are cast into the fire
@@unlearnthelies As you read the gospels, you will find that Jesus is constantly preaching about the horror of hell, and to therefore repent and believe the gospel. Take a look at this verse: “If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched-” Mark 9:43 NKJV. If hell from your perspective is essentially just eternal death and annihilation, based on that logic, we must ask the question, "Why is it better to have one hand in heaven than two hands in hell?" Another point, when Jesus was speaking of the son of perdition (Judas) He said, "It would have been better for that man to have never been born." Why is that true if after death there is simply no more anything? Is not being born better than death? Therefore, the logical conclusion is thus, there is an eternal dwelling place for those who have rejected God by sinning against Him, there will be weeping and nashing of teeth and eternal punishment. This is the truth of Scripture, though it is a touchy subject, we must submit to the authority of God's word. Because this is true, we therefore must preach the gospel to every creature in hopes that they would be reconciled to God through the life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Just yesterday, I rewatched the 2 interviews that our brother, Rob Skiba, did with you on this topic. Also today, The God Culture, put out their Part 2 on this same topic. Confirmation for me that this is the truth. Thank you!
The bible says in 1st Timothy God alone is immortal. And the word also says in Romans Satan will be crushed under our feet. I believe even Satan will be annihilated.
So, does Rev 14:9-11 NOT say men who worship the beast would be tormented with fire and brimstone… and that the smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever..? I’m a little perplexed. Do we not take that literally? How do we understand Isaiah 66:22-24? Not sure how to explain a fire that will not be quenched. (from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, said the Lord. And they shall go forth and look up on the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched:)
@@merionH "If read in context, its clear that Scripture’s references to an “unquenchable fire” and “undying worm” refer to the finality of judgment, not its duration (Isa. 66:24, cf. 2 Kgs 22:17; 1:31; 51:8; Jer. 4:4; 7:20; 21:12; Ezek. 20:47-48). The fire is unquenchable in the sense that it cannot be put it out before it consumes those thrown into it. And the worm is undying in the sense that there is no hope for the condemned that it will be prevented from devouring their corpse."
It doesn't say unforgivable but "will not be forgiven in this age or the next." However, the apostle Paul spoke of the ages to come. Meaning, at his time there were at least two more coming ages, at minimum. Please realize, their is no word int he original Hebrew or Greek that means forever. In additon, regardless of what this man says on this video. God destroys his enemies by ultimately reconciling them to Himself. This is His plan of the ages which includes the use of His overcomers of this present wicked age (the firstfruits), who will be kings, priest, and rule the nations with Him. For he must reign (not forever) but til he has subjected all enemies to Himself. Then, He hands the kingdom over to the Father and God will be all and in all. This is the truly good news (gospel). It's true- Love never fails!!
@@boltingpuppies let look as a literal translation of that verse. This is from Young’s Literal translation “but whoever may speak evil in regard to the Holy Spirit hath not forgiveness -- to the age, but is in danger of age-during judgment;' Simply put , instead of ruling the nations, being priest, sitting on thrones and judging the world with Christ in the coming age, they will be ruled and judged. But even this will end as do all ages. When will this end? I Cor 15 :24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 25For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. 27For “He has put all things under His feet.” But when He says “all things are put under Him,” it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. 28Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.
2 Thessalonians 1:9, “They will suffer the punishment of ETERNAL destruction.” Just because some verses talk about our souls being destroyed, they don’t negate the fact of eternal destruction. We can’t pit one verse against the other. They BOTH refer to an eternal suffering.
The eternal fire is also called eternal because it comes from God, Who is eternal and is also consuming fire. He is going to consume the wicked with His purifying fire, check Isaiah 33: 15 and Revelation 20: 9
@@lewisevander that's a biased interpretation because of what you have been taught or have heard. I've got a question on this: what about the story of Lazarus, who is in eternal torment, asking for a drop of water? Sounds like everlasting torture to me.

I just wonder if Jesus’ first reference to weeping and gnashing of teeth in Matthew 8:12 give people time to do it, if they are, like you said, "destroyed"? Doesn't give us the idea of a prolonged action do to a prolonged punishment? What about the rich guy who found himself tormented? Are you going to tell me that he was just waiting to be destroyed forever?
If Death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them (plural) then who are those people? It’s clear by the context that Death and Hades are two separate locations. Why would Death and Hades give up dead people if nobody died and went there?
This guy conveniently leaves out the story of the rich man and lazerus. As well as many other scriptures that point to the contrary of what he's preaching.
To take it a step furthur, if you look up the terms “. forever and ever”. It’s a wrong translation. In orig manuscripts it’s written eon. A determined age. And the fire in the lake of fire is not for punishment ,it’s for distroying the sin in those cast there. @@YEARNINGHEARTGuitargirl226 Hey I just shared this with someone else with a similar question. Luke 16 is Jesus telling His disciples a parable. We basically have a choice to make from the Truth we’re given here in the land of the living.
It's a parable. It's not a literal occurance. The rich man is a picture of the elite jew and lazerus is a picture of the gentiles. And remember the word flame or fire in the bible is typically referring to some type of judgement.

That the consequence of sin and not turning away from it. We receive our own due penalties per our own actions. Also, he said it early on, Hell was made for Satan and his Angels, not for man... And because we ourselves "Rebel" in sin, we receive that same punishment as those that first rebelled before us. But fear not! He left us a way out through Christ Jesus, our savoir. And you need only repent of sins, and turn to Christ, believe in him as your lord and savoir and flee from temptation of sin and pray ceaselessly for God to guard your heart and mind after as we live in this world and cultures full of all manner of debauchery and wickedness out there.

Crazy no one gave this man the gospel.
Lex, I do have 1 question. What about the rich man and Lazarus? The rich man clearly states that he is being tormented. Can you explain this please.
The rich man is in Hades which isn't the final judgement (lake of fire). Also, many scholars believe that the story shouldn't be taken literally but should be taken as a parable based on historical and Biblical factors.
Parable
Torment is total restraint the dead can't help us or themselves in the grave
It's called a parable aka not real, a story.
It's a story
If the wicked are burned up and destroyed rather than existing forever in a place of punishment, then that would help explain passages that say that all the earth will worship and pledge allegiance to Jesus, since those who refused to follow him were destroyed.
Penalty for sin is death....Jesus says this many times.....fear not man who can destroy the Body but fear God who can destroy the Body and soul...there is no life outside of Gods presence.....we are not immortal we are created...destruction may take longer for son than other....but like Jonna was swallowed by a fish forever ..or 2 days..this I believe

Excellent breakdown!
Spot on and well presented. Thank you brother Lex!
Shalom

“And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.””
Matthew 25:46 NKJV
Very clear Scripture that indicates that there IS indeed an eternal dwelling place where humans are punished forever.
It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched-”
Mark 9:43 NKJV. If hell from your perspective is essentially just eternal death and annihilation, based on that logic, we must ask the question, "Why is it better to have one hand in heaven than two hands in hell?"
Another point, when Jesus was speaking of the son of perdition (Judas) He said, "It would have been better for that man to have never been born." Why is that true if after death there is simply no more anything? Is not being born better than death? Therefore, the logical conclusion is thus, there is an eternal dwelling place for those who have rejected God by sinning against Him, there will be weeping and nashing of teeth and eternal punishment.
This is the truth of Scripture, though it is a touchy subject, we must submit to the authority of God's word. Because this is true, we therefore must preach the gospel to every creature in hopes that they would be reconciled to God through the life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Thank you for clarifying these things.

I totally agree and have been believing this for a long time, but my wife keeps on pushing the "revelation 14:9-11" and I can't explain it.

Can you do a video on the “ Unforgivable sin” from Matthew 12:32
Amma look at tht rn
I don't think that can be committed now read Mark

Simply put , instead of ruling the nations, being priest, sitting on thrones and judging the world with Christ in the coming age, they will be ruled and judged.

The eternal fire is also called eternal because it comes from God, Who is eternal and is also consuming fire. He is going to consume the wicked with His purifying fire, check Isaiah 33: 15 and Revelation 20: 9
What about the passage that speaks about the gnashing of teeth and being toremented by worms?
@@lewisevander what about it?
@@DiegoRivera-xg8xd that sounds like eternal punishment to me.
@@lewisevander that's a biased interpretation because of what you have been taught or have heard. If you read the passages carefully, no preconceived notions, you will not find the idea of eternal suffering in fire anywhere in the Bible. On the contrary, the Bible repeatedly teaches that the wicked, along with the demons, will be completely, utterly and absolutely destroyed. Annhiliated.
@@DiegoRivera-xg8xd so then what does the weeping, gnashing of teeth and being tormented by worms mean then?
Thankyou for allowing scriptures to explain scriptures 😮
I've got a question on this: what about the story of Lazarus, who is in eternal torment, asking for a drop of water? Sounds like everlasting torture to me.
Exactly, I had this same question. Luke 16, verse 23 says, "and he went to the place of the dead. There, , he saw Abraham in the far distance with Lazarus at his side." It says "in torment" How do you interpret this brother?
The story of Lazarus and the rich man is a parable.
@@Chudsmash777 All the parables Jesus Christ taught were based on life facts.
That's right. Also Mat 25:41: "Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:" 46: "And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal."
@@victorxavier777 Lex has a video about the parable of Lazarus and the rich man!
Can you tell me which bible did u used?
I want him to talk about the demon witchcraft hex sprinkled on mankind as Chinese Astrology & and Western Astrology. Real to humans - or unreal? How do we escape to be wholly ourselves again?...
“to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord” “it is far better to not be here, but to be with the Lord” …we may not go to Heaven when we “believers” die, but we will be with the Lord
Mate I think that verse about receiving the new body . Not going to heaven
I have the same question
I question this too
Thank you so much for your very clear explanation . !!!
What about the rich man and Lazarus?
Parable
Above comment.that a parable.which most don't understand. It deals with the jews divorce from God and being cut off Matt 21
Please explain revelation 20:10 tormented day and night for ever and ever. Thank you
Yea. Imma just read the bible for my self now after watching your channel. People really needa stock to the scriptures
Great study brother hopefully this settles the matter for a lot of people
If Death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them (plural) then who are those people? It’s clear by the context that Death and Hades are two separate locations. Why would Death and Hades give up dead people if nobody died and went there?
This guy conveniently leaves out the story of the rich man and lazerus. As well as many other scriptures that point to the contrary of what he's preaching.
@@yeshualawson How does the parable of Luke contradicts this many scriptures the brother uses to bring his point?
@@bbl361 Luke 16 is not a parable. Parables do not name actual people in them yet Luke 16:19-31 names Lazarus, Abraham, and Moses.
It means death and the grave......Hades means the grave in the old Greek testament
What about the passage that speaks about the gnashing of teeth and being toremented by worms?
*[Sinners don't go to H*ll until **_after_** The Judgement.]*
_"Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them..."_ 🤔❓
To take it a step furthur, if you look up the terms “. forever and ever”. It’s a wrong translation. In orig manuscripts it’s written eon. A determined age. And the fire in the lake of fire is not for punishment ,it’s for distroying the sin in those cast there. The fire , is the fire of God, the second death is the dying to sin and refinement .. the fire is everlasting because God is everlasting. In the end, God will fill ALL IN ALL. The definition of ALL is everyone.
They'll stop at the parts that justify their idea of eternal damnation and explain away verses that imply Universal Restoration.
"They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.”
The smoke of their torment rises forever.
This does no mean their torment is forever.
Only the smoke.
Those who worship the beast have not died yet
"...they will be tormented *day* and *night* _forever and ever_ " isn't that eternal punishment?
@heyrorybwhat is it talking about then if not people
@heyroryb It's absolutely talking about people.
Revelation 14:11
"And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name."
@@boltingpuppies I think that verse is specifically talking about those who worshiped the beast
@@caylinmarkle3385 Yes, those who worship the beast, take his mark or worship his image will have no rest day or night, the smoke of their torment rises forever and ever.---Some people who deny eternal conscious torment refuse to believe this verse, even for this specific group of people. They go that far.
@@boltingpuppies yeah...those who literally worship Satan...his image and get the mark. Just like Satan, the Fallen, and the demons...they will all be tormented in the lake of fire forever. The rest will die a second death and never exist again. The rest will be resurrected and live again in a restored paradise on earth and 144k will be chosen to rule with Christ, the father, and the angels in heaven over the restored earth. Satan and crew will be destroyed forever. Like the literal "sold their soul" types who work for Lucifer, the fallen...we call them the elite or the NWO. Given this world for "a time." Lake of fire is for those devoid of God, knowingly serving Satan, "worshiping him" in rituals and sacrifices, and obviously those who receive the mark.
Your awesome. Brother shalom 🙏🏾
what do you say about Luke 16 of the rich man and Lazarus?
Another question. what you you say about people that have been killed where there is no body to bury... ie: explosions, eaten by an animal, etc.? What do you say about cremation and ashes scattered? Where are their souls?
@@YEARNINGHEARTGuitargirl226 Hey I just shared this with someone else with a similar question. Luke 16 is Jesus telling His disciples a parable. He was showing us the division between Paradise and Hades And basically there is no way to go back-and-forth between the two once we are deceased. We basically have a choice to make from the Truth we’re given here in the land of the living.
@@iamhunnib Thank you.
@@YEARNINGHEARTGuitargirl226 No problem! I hope that helped
It's a parable. It's not a literal occurance. The rich man is a picture of the elite jew and lazerus is a picture of the gentiles. And remember the word flame or fire in the bible is typically referring to some type of judgement.
Thank you
