Okay, OFFICIALLY our favourite video!!! 1. I'm with Tel, rotisserie is the only way for a marshmallow, sorry Dan. 2. OMG, Heath has become the cutest 3. Love the shorts Dan ;-) LOVE IT, Matt and the Clan
Hello Price Fam!! This the probably my favourite comment ever too 😆 Heath is a true Menace, but he's a cute Menace. Tacky taste clothes are best for camping... And we can agree to disagree on marshmellow cooking !!! Hope you are well. An email well over due on my behalf. Hopefully you all had a wonderful xmas/ny together!! Bit more chilly there I reckon!!
Loved it mate! So relaxing. You just can't beat being in the bush with kids. Good on ya for being such a hands-on patient father, it sure can be tricky at times.
Hey Dan. That was a great video. Someone commented how relaxing it was to watch. So true. The bush sounds, birds and kids having fun was really nice. The hexa looked like it kept the rain off well. I love your camp kitchen, haha. I think it every time I see it. Such a great invention. The table around the firepit looks really handy for cooking, drinks and child safety. I’m hanging out for another cooking video….no pressure!!😁👍🏻
Love this style of video! Very relatable, please keep them coming 😊 Could you show us you / your wife packing everything (including what you take for the kids?)
@@OTWD My pleasure mate. That table around the fire pit looks good. I would watch a pack up video as I'm struggling to believe that you can fit all of that in your vehicle tbh.🤣🤣 C'mon fess up there's a trailer out of shot isn't there?
Amazing how much you can fit into the new Grey Dingo. Did I miss the build videos or are they still being edited? The hexa tarp is a good investment in wet weather.
Hi Michael, It's a skilled game of tetris but all the cargo fits in! Sorry taken a while here - pre-occupied with pressing life stuff last few weeks. I'm behind on editing - so nope you haven't missed anything. The first trip in new prado (Nth of Walhalla) is coming soon (within a week or so). The hexatarp is outstanding in heavy rain. I've been taking the 1/2 hexatarp with me on solo trips now too, as an alternate to vehicle mounted awning to sleep under. It sets up the same way. Cheers!
Hi Chris, Glad you enjoyed it. It's good to experiment and heaps of the clips would never see the light of day otherwise. I use Davinci Resolve for everything. Cheers
Love to know how you get all that in the car along with the fridge and how long it take you guys to pack up... take me like 2hrs to pack up the RX4 -the colour coded bags rock -kids with mental P&IDs and parental SCADA always work better (marshmallow method)
Hi Southern Gent, Our strategy in the medium term is to involve the kids and give them jobs, so that it's not mum and dad doing all the work. But when they are pre-school ages its not really viable like that. We just try and keep them relaxed when camping so they become used to it and enjoy it..so it becomes familiar as something we do together :) A few folks have asked about packing the car. Might make a video on that in the future. It's not easy - I feel your pain. As an indication, the morning we left we woke up at 7AM (nothing packed up), and working quickly we left at 9:30AM (including feeding and entertaining the kids!) Cheers. Two adults frantically packing up....
We put up the side pole high to give more head room entering/exiting, and to have a better view out when sitting under it. Removing the pole, or dropping it down fixes any water pooling entirely. The hexatarp is brilliant for water runoff management.

Thanks heaps Wade. What a heart warming comment. Cheers!👍😬
Nice and relaxing, enjoy your family time Dan. Let the kids play in the mud and rain sit back and watch the transformation .
Good work 👌
Thanks heaps Luca. Start them young and get them into the family camping rituals early... Cheers😁

It can be tough camping with them this age. It's a working holiday for sure. Thanks heaps for commenting and glad you liked it. Cheers Ryan😬
Great family time in the bush. You do really well getting everybody and all the gear in the car. Good setup, well done.
Thanks mate, appreciate this kind comment. It's a refined game of tetris......!!😬
What a great clip with you and the family
Thanks Gary ! 👍😬

Thanks heaps. I was a bit worried it wouldn't get traction with anyone. Cheers!!
Loved this one Dan 👌👌👌
Thank you !!👍👍😬
Looks like a great family camping trip mate, with some eager spectators and visitors. Nice work!
Thanks Jason. Yeah great trip. Practicing the ritual getting out and about with the family, so it becomes part of 'what we do'!!

Thanks Heaps - glad it resonates! Appreciate that encouragement. Will consider how to make a video about how we pack....😬🤔
Beautiful mate!
Thanks Roger! Yep, crackin' trip.😬
Love it Dan!!
Thanks mate!!

Thank you. Bit of a gamble. It's fun to experiment. Glad you liked it !!! 👍😬👍

the tent.. not the kids
What's with the pooling on the tarp. Would dropping the pole fix this? Or no pole?

lots of gear
Still relatively light weight. But yep, heaps of stuff. I like to be prepared.
