I've seen this mentioned elsewhere, but how does sucking in 100 degree/100 percent humidity from outside air and cooling it make an ac unit more efficient? I really don't understand.
That's a great question! Generally, air conditioning units work more efficiently when they recirculate indoor air rather than pulling in hot, humid air from outside. When an AC unit has to cool 100-degree air with 100% humidity, it uses more energy to cool and dehumidify that air. In some specific HVAC systems, there might be controlled ventilation where a small amount of outside air is mixed with indoor air to improve air quality, but this is done in a balanced way to avoid significantly reducing efficiency. The key is proper insulation and minimizing the intake of hot, humid air. Thanks for bringing this up!
Hi I believe Portable ACs should be that powerful to give you the flexibility of setting them any where and everywhere you want. As for the electricity part, I'm not an electrician but I'm sure that if you follow the manual instructions you would be OK
Thanks. I will likely go with the Midea Dual Hose. The Whynter Dual Hose is usually sold out. Just curious: Did Black & Decker change their name to Black Decker? You’re the second TH-camr I’ve noticed. Just curious🙂. Cheers🌬️🌤️.
Hi , Thank you for dropping by. The Midea is a great choice. The Whynter Dual Hose is indeed currently sold out :( No, they didn't change their names. I just accidentally dropped the "&" :) Stay Cool :) (Pun Intended)
