After speaking to Anzu Robotics about these drones , the Software is NOT ready , it has NONE of the features that the Mavics have , besides being almost twice the cost , NO HOPE in this.
Interestingly enough, we flew one and our Dedrone Aerial Armor drone detection system (which only picks up DJI drones) picked the Raptor up and labeled it as a "Mavic 3E/3T/3M". Go figure.
I kept telling everyone that anzu was with dji now and no one believed me lol. They all look at drone blogs for info which most of them are shifty info. Good job doing your due diligence.
That's good news! But it would be even better news, if we could find out about the DJI drones that are already out...Are they going to be able to fly in the U.S.???
Lol Randall Warnas is a genius! We are already not allowed to use dji for LEO'S and SAR in my state of Florida, so this is perfect way to get around that!
He Said that “if there is a DJI Ban these drones will come in handy especially if you are doing mapping, public safety and search and rescue” ?? So basically their target audience are the enterprise, commercial and government markets and not the consumer market that DJI is mostly focused on? Is it why this green DJI looking drone has a $8000 price tag on it?
Not exactly.....I live in Florida. Our state is no longer allowed to use Chinese branded drones for any government use, law enforcement or any type of search and rescue... So yeah, this drone gets around ALL of those restrictions we have in Florida, and other states as well..Geozones don't mean anything to us down here. All that matters, is we can use this drone, considering we have absolutely no other competitors in this market
What I understand from this video is that because DJI may be banned at some point in the United States, they will be selling these extremely expensive drones in order to make profit. Almost twice the price it’s ridiculous.
In the time of drone ban uncertainty, Anzu's approach to fill-in the gap by acquiring license of the hardware of an existing product, source-in an equivalent set of components that is not made in china then plug-in a US developed firmware and operating platform for the controller - it's just remarkable! And to do all these things in 1 year is even more amazing! It is understandable that the product can be pricey, but hey - Anzu doesn't have its own software engineers to cover the timeline but has to rely on 3rd-party US drone software Aloft which can also bump up the cost. A time will come for Anzu to have its own aircraft designers and software engineers; but for the time being a licensed product is all we got. Note that the the DJI license it has is only for the Enterprise models and not for the recreational models. So no hope yet for the mini guys. I still wish for success for Anzu as they definitely got their feet in a good start to supplement the void of the industrial, law enforcement, and rescue segment once the ban is in-place. I also hope to see them introduce products for the agriculture segment. It's just less than year since the product rollout of the Raptor series and I expect for more features and improvement on the software in the coming months. Cheers to Anzu!
Just spray paint your old drone green and you have the raptor green T here's your loop hole. I can see the cicadas trying to mate with your drone this year
That's what I've been saying to people all alone so you want to listen to these people who wants to ban DJI but they still going to have to have DJI China made parts to make the drones they make. It is really ridiculous to go to all our band just to be on the back burner buying China parts for a drone you want to sell twice the price. Why would you want to give your customers less of a drone at a high price. And I mean higher than the DJI drone.
what is going to happen to recreational hobbyists buying a mini 4k today? or to a recently purchased potensic atom, will the apps shut down stranding present consumers
Shock Horror. A company taking advantage of a bad situation. Everyone should boycott this company. Ripping off the public. Shame on you. No development, just a DJI copy. Yet you want to charge more than DJI. 😂 Shame.
@@AerialInfluence the labor in Malaysia is just as cheap as China only reason it is more is because there are American companies involved which equals greed!
no d log.. how about hyperlapse way points? night mode that takes noise out of the footage in drone? quick shots? if not wouldn't be good as its more money than the same mavic 3 with less features.
The DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise doesn't have any (most) of those photographer centric features you mentioned either. The raptor is designed as something to help enterprise users if the ban goes into place, it is not designed to give the average consumer a replacement for DJI products.
I can buy that drone, but my price per hour just went up to $350 an hour, this is America, America got money....losts of it, they got so much they just giving it away.
NOT a DJI fan in any manner,( do not own anything DJI ) and they were/are one of the reasons we have over regulating and the worse tech called REMOTE ID that DJI started imposed on our Hobby , HOWEVER to ban them even tho in my own personal opinion they got what they asked for, To force a company to be banned so it's competitors can sell more stuff is UNAMERICAN ...Period. IF you want to compete then create better tech and at more affordable prices not remove a company because they have better tech and cheaper...TECH I might add that was most likely stolen from US military/Governments because that is what China does and always have. SO Anzu Tech, your way short of the mark and far overpriced to be a competitor , even if DJI gets banned completely, which still has not happened yet , your still way short of the mark !!.
DJI has GEO fencing. They copy a DJI design. Just probably like Ford. Parts made in a different country. Expensive, and crappy, with bad costumer service. 🙄 Go politicians👍

What were your main takeaways from the conversation?
DOA
lots of dirt behind this ban. sad to see u guys are in bad corrupt politcs like this

Anzu Robotics also quoted me $ 8,548.00 for the Green Machine , including the RTK Module , which was made by DJI :P
Question, will the charge block and hub work for rapter battery? And will the RTK and speaker work also?
Charging hub and block work with Anzu. RTK and speaker are not compatible.
Any news on smaller Anzu drones that might appear? The Raptor Light?
Actually the parts are made in China. They government doesn't make sense. Leave dji alone
It’s all to do with money 😊
They are literally DJI parts.
It will be quite nice of this drone is available to the public in the UK because I'll definitely be interested in one of them
That's good news! But it would be even better news, if we could find out about the DJI drones that are already out...Are they going to be able to fly in the U.S.???
Most other drone channels are reporting yes, existing DJI models will be able to fly, in the U.S.
That's what I've read, all existing models will be grandfathered in. New models will not be.
INTERESTING

Yes, Anzu’s target audience are Enterprise customers.
is there a m30t version?
Not yet, but wouldn’t surprise me if we see one in the near future.
$1500 to get rid of geofencing, basically.

You’re about an hour or so from me, depending on what roads or bridges are under construction. LOL!
Im gonna need them to make a Matrice 30T replacement.

It’s just the color they chose…
Because your gonna spend allot to get one of these...lol

Kinda funny that Anzu robotics is now going to be part of the ban if it goes through!
Wait this isn't the dinosaur-
😊😊😊
if they keep dji from selling their drones it is going to be a lot more expensive to get a drone that is as good thru anzu.

im hoovering over the mini 4k buy button right now, wth
its looks alot like a dji drone..... probably it is a dji drone but with a different colour and different software...
basically dji drones with green spray from home depot lol way worse than dji air 3 but quadruple the price ..
but why green! is it an environmental thing? ;d
Maybe China, sometime in the future, for some unexpected reason, will not want drone pilots to fly over abandoned airfields????

Not worth the extra money especially when you still will be able to use the Mavic 3T
i would not buy it even if it is on sale under $100
a not so well versed person in drone market can tell the similarity between this green drone vs DJI product haha!

DJI for 40-50% more money!!👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
Way over priced. Looks like a dji drone. I bet that's made in China also
its assembled by dji i bet u can remore the tint and see the dji logo under
