And would you believe it, I saw them live in NY and the crowd was NOTHING like this. Everyone standing around like they had a stick up their ass, at least there was one dude going hype so we just rocked out together but that was about it
So Mew! Combining melodious unique but still sing-along-able vocal part, 'broken' drum beat, various fill on guitar, and the static stable simple picking on bass guitar...
It was a lot of fun, though everything hurt afterwards, and I had tinnitus and issues with my vision the rest of the day XD The Mew guys were so sweet and caring.
This reminded me of the last weeks Ruisrock perfomance when I was jumping and dancing to 'Witness'...I hope you visit in Finland soon! My biggest dream is to meet you after your show! So many other Frengers has group pics with you..last week I tried my best to find you..well maybe next time!

They are down to earth guys, only Jonas is a bit shy and tends to stay backstage for most of the time, which I can understand.

Interpol is a 3 piece band. Mew has had this style for a long time. For their first two albums, Mew was a 5 piece (two guitarists, bassist, drummer, and keyboardist). It's only been the case on their last two albums that the singer doesn't play guitar.

Guys any idea what guitar effects does bo use to create overdrive yet twangy guitar sound?
I watched him play about a year ago, He just use a normal Tube Screamer 9. I think his guitar and custom built amp are the main source of the sound.
