Mew and Comforting Sounds... It's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever listened to, it gives me goosebumps every single time. I totally LOVE the nostalgic feeling I get as well. I'll always be thankful for the existence of it. Mew is a great, great band.
One of the most powerful and impactful pieces of music I’ve had the pleasure of seeing live multiple times. The one that stands out the most was in Baltimore, MD in a small club called Fletchers. I was shocked to see Greg from Dillinger Escape Plan standing right next to me. At the end of that particular set I saw more grown men tearing up than at any other performance I’ve been to. What a band ❤

I'm so happy that i got to see them perform live on the 12th of April 2024 with the Danish Chamber Orchestra. What an experience it was. Best concert I've ever been too. Period!

Not as in more popular people online usually seem to compare a bands popularity to coldplay or depeche mode or taylor swift or whoever when 99.99% of musicians will never be that near that big ..i just very rarely see them mentioned on music sites or posts you know? And if so its maybe for this one song 20+ years ago. Frengers, glass handed kites and no more stories are surely all 8.5/10 or above albums though?
the crowd don't hoot when he says "thank you" during the track.. While I am one of the people who usually hoots when they do this in concert, you have to admire their respect to the music, and avoidance of trying to ruin it with hooting :)
