My wife and I was there at the Mabee Center at ORU in Tulsa 1994. We were on the third row and Bryan and Bob surprised everyone joking around those coats were from the ushers that helped you find your seats. I can hear my wife yell twice in this video. It is awesome to find this. We saw the movie “Unsung Hero” last night and didn’t realize it was about Rebecca StJames who sang on this tour with Bryan and Bob.
Thankful for Jesus, THE SOUL MAN who offers a new soul for all who yield themselves to HIS psalms of salvation. Bryan will always be a Rightous airport Rap man 👍
Oh my goodness! I was there at this concert in Tulsa! It was THE BEST! I don’t know how I’m just now finding it. Thanks Ready! This is a fabulous video of some of the best in the industry!
Saw the Self Righteous Brothers LIVE about 15 years or so ago in Riverside. They were BRILLIANT. Of course when the two best male vocalists perform together it can only be amazing.
Bob & Bryan are the best duo ever !!! Their voices and songs they write are incredible. Check em out folks; Bryan Duncan (Sweet Comfort Band) Bob Carlisle (Allies). Bobby C also wrote Butterfly Kisses as well. They are grooving in this video - OLD SKOOL !!!!
Not sure how I've missed seeing this video. Allies were My favorite band in 80s and 90s, Bryan Duncan great solo act. Together are the two best Christian male vocalists by far.
Great to see two of my favourite Christian vocalists from the 80's and 90s (with B.C. fronting the extremely under-rated Allies) performing together. Music from both these guys was a cut above the usual Christian fare at the time. Look up 'Crying in the Chapel' and 'The Devil is a Liar' by Allies and tell me those guys wouldn't have smashed it in any rock music market. BTW - what year was this recorded?
Ohhh Nooo, I'm not really seeing this, HAAAAAAAAAA!!!! Bryan Duncan and Bob Carlisle, the Self Righteous Bros!!! What is that big license plate Bob C is wearing??? That's not a license plate, that's a splash cymbal!! Oh, oh, where's the nearest exit??? Really though, it's great to see these two guys having fun together.
When I was 20 in 1989, I went to see you both play in Seattle. That was my first CCM concert. Bob was in Allies on their first album, great concert! That band was too short lived FYI. Bryan was touring in support of his Strong Medicine album. The concert was actually opened by a woman that a friend and I sang with at a local Community College. Lovely soprano acapella performance of Some Children See Him. I cannot recall her name, but I recall the concert!
This wasn't 2011 can't be. Must be like end of 90's or early 2000's. Does anybody know when this performance was recorded? Bryan doesnt moves anymore like this since at least 2007.
... If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. Perhaps the meaning of the cymbal... or just thought it was a fun thing to do.
And..I THANK YOU! for posting. ❤

Allies' parody of Hoochie Coochie Man is amazing! Randy Thomas is an underrated guitar player. Long Way From Paradise is METAL!
