The videos are fantastic, I watched a number of them before my own cataract surgery and felt that they helped me a lot. Thank you for explaining the eye shield. Seems like such a simple thing, but it really helped.

Can you do a video on what kinds of patients are not suitable for using multifocal premium lense for cataract surgery? I've read a few articles by well known ophthalmologists on the kinds of patients that they avoid, can you tell us what you do to screen patients who may not be suitable for them to avoid patients' future headaches and expense?

Having gone through the whole process of finding a group of medical professionals that specialize in cataract surgery. Let me tell you there is no substitute for experience. The brain is a muscle and the more experience a doctor has the better the outcome. Your first visit takes hours to gather all the information about your eye health. Then at the end it’s a rather quick decision based on the doctors findings on your options. My decision was multi focused lens. So off the the retinal doctor to get clearance for these new lens. Once that was accomplished it was get the green light from my doctor. Had surgery on 5/8/2023 and was very impressed with the whole procedure. The outcome has been outstanding and my vision is perfect. Near , intermediate and far is unbelievable. My final left eye will be done on 5/22/2023. Like I said finding a professional practice isn’t easy and you need to do your homework. You have one shot to get it right so invest the time to evaluate as many practices that you can.
