Great video. Love the technique. I HAD to laugh when you were sharing the colors you liked best.... Yah think you like black? It's the largest container on your table!!!!
Thank you for showing about the gum solution. It's a new to me product. I probably would have just loosened it up with more underglaze. Great videos! Thank you for the interesting content!
Hi Kathy! I "met" you during one of the ClayshareCons and want to tell you that I really enjoy your instructive videos. Keep making and posting them!
I completely get that clay patience thing. Fixing greenware and bisque can be tricky. That’s a good video suggestion. Frankly I haven’t used either lately.
Absolutely, you can make any amount.
Really enjoyed your video. ! Thanks!
Can I try a smaller amount to start before I use a full pint. I have started making transfers with news print. I think its a cool Idea. I do wood fired pottery and i wanted to see how this old up in the big kiln
Kathy, would you know what are the finest tips for detailing?
very interesting ! and why, after drying the black paint, did it turn into orange mousse? Thank you for sharing your experience with gum . I want my own studio!!!
I also have some spectrum RACs raised under glaze do you think that might work for this project
I just got a pint of gum solution and it looks like a big blob with tiny bubbles. Any thoughts? Could it have been frozen? Love your videos!
Can you use stroke and coat too?
Hi Kathy, so excited to try this!! Instead of printing a design on the Transparency film, can I draw my own design on it with a black marker?
I love the technique. What if I can't wait for the clay the thicken? What do you think about that powder some mention to quick thicken the clay? I tried it and am not impressed. It clumped and didn't really work. Probably I needed to add more?
Sorry I don’t know anything about that.
Are we talking hours or days to dry?
