That is identical to the $289.00 5 inch stepped intercooler I bought off of Ebay. EXACT. But of course no name brand. I sold it since then and now am rockin a 7.5 inch stepped intercooler from "NP Boosted" Which I got for $400.00 off of Ebay as well even though it is an NP Boosted brand. Works GREAT! To install the 5 inch cooler you don't need to remove or change anything really except for taking the old one out. Those bolts are even not needed. You can use the OEM screws that are from the OEM cooler and they hold just fine. No point in removing the fan or anything else.

Nice mate. Massive respect for fitting it in the rain, I would’ve said f@#k it and gone back to bed 😂

Thank you for this video, have my sights on the Wagner EVO 1 kit (i have MHD stage 1 and judging by the logs, at 25°C i have around 15-20s full boost before IAT goes above 60°C), thought of getting a garage to fit it when i buy it, but after seeing this video, it doesn't look that bad to diy, just maybe in dry weather haha :)

Cheers bud im glad it helped and yeah its quite an easy install just be careful not to damage the fan because it is quite tight with the Wagner intercooler and I also couldn't fit the front part of the under tray back on and yeah mate I wouldn't do it in the rain 😂 I was just to excited 😂

Did you have to do any cutting to get it to fit? And did you reuse the stock tubing or install the tubes that came with the kit?
Currently trying to get mine to fit on my 2010 135i thank you for the video

Georfe Meyer no I didn’t cut anything but I did have to keep the front scuttle panel off because it would’ve scratched the bottom of the intercooler but if that doesn’t bother you then you can fit it in there and I re-used the stock piping and the stock C-clips it was literally take one off put one on, it was a pain trying to line the intercooler up to make it fit, hopefully this helps and no worries bud 👍🏼
