I feel so gaslit by everything to do with Erie. I played so much when I started in version 0.7. and did a lot of reading on the wiki and watched a lot of videos. And never once saw any mention of Erie. But only once 0.8 came out, now Erie is all over the place even in videos dating back over a YEAR! How did I never hear about this?! Even the erie zone spot, my first DAY playing 0.8, I saw that and thought "oh this is new" but no apparently that has always been there and I have just never seen it? This must be what the Mandela effect feels like.
The Voices Network is back at it with another genuinely helpful video. I have a couple questions. Once you get an Angel Erie, do you still have to feed it? If not then holy crap that thing is a free food and money printer if you initially give it enough cheese. Also, Do you know if you can hold Erie in 0.8? I believe I saw footage of someone grabbing an Erie and putting it into a cabinet but I may be misremembering.
Thank you : ) As far as I know, Angel and Devil Erie are permanent until you split them. I put the Angel Erie in the admin room with the ATV and ran her over multiple times, then left her in there with the brakes off so it'd run her over if she waddled close to it. I left the computer going on and came back to her still as Angel Erie. I haven't checked if Devil Erie is fixable, so you should store them in the bunker until you can feed two a lot of cheese. To open the bunker, use a hook rope and throw it down into the window until you hook it onto the keycard locked down there. The keycard can be used on the first keypad, but you have to aim your cursor on the magnetic stripe reader (the slidey part) and the second keypad is corrupted now. You have to beat the second door open with a hammer, rock or other weapons.
I accidently got to hold Erie recently! I was planning on trapping her in the bunker as I didn’t feel like playing tamagotchi (didn’t know about angel Erie) but I then tripped over a rock and when I got up I was holding Erie in my hand, I was able to even put her in my inventory (she’s like 50k volume something def broke) and now I store her in a cabinet in the store room lol
Aside from the achievement, is there a reward from making her alive? Like the Erie TV? Not sure if it's obtainable via normal means. It looks cool so I wanna try and get it, if possible
Nope, you can repeat this every night within the same hour, you just need more meat piles to bag and bury. In fact, they consecutively spawn for every meat garbage bag buried at Erie Zone, between 00:00 - 01:00. That means you can get tens of them in a single night. You can get another pile quickly by slamming Maxwell, Argemwell, or Eriewell against the wall. Eriewell will regenerate, so bag her up quickly. Gnarpwell will only give electronic scrap. You can enter the chosen cat in the console commands again and find them again.
