How amazing! I left work after teaching a class this evening and was reflecting on how sometimes I imagine/daydream about stressful situations and impending danger. I thought to myself that it might be a sign of insecurity, so even before you started talking about safety and security, that was the exact Sankalpa I chose immediately. It appears the universe listens! I am a little closer to finishing Module 2. I have to say that there really is no way to rush this process and the further I get into it, the less I want to!

Hi Ally, I am a writer from Mumbai. I came across your videos when I was recovering from Covid and found them to be very calming and I’ve continued to follow them. I do a half hour session every afternoon. Our two cats often join me and fall asleep as they listen to you. Thank you for doing this.

After a stay in hospital, and having a panic attack there, a nurse suggested I try the 12 minute nervous system reboot. After 50 years meditatibg, I am GOBSMACKED... SUCH a deep healing is occurring when both my husband and I use this root chakra yoga nidra!
Thank you for the many choices.
However, one suggestion... after thec12 minute version, don't wake us up. Let us rest there ... as you do for the root chakra version.
Also, add the relaxation if all bidy parts to the sound bath!
And, the sleep ones keep me too surface. . To actually go to sleep. Too many distractions... to LISTEN to. Just your calm voice is all one

My Sunday morning started with a 5:30 wake up by a shouting toddler. Doing this in the garden has made my body both lighter and more grounded. It has set my intention to remain grounded through the day and really listen to what my body is telling me. As we went up the spine my body instinctively twitched back and forth, allowing relief to wash through.🙏🏽

Ally - this was so profound for me. To realize I am part of the earth and all things. I think doing this practice directly after another one in which I fell asleep, allowed me to finally be conscious throughout this one and truly absorb it. I was transported back to the Kawarthas, where I have grown up going (to Stoney Lake where my family has a place). The loons in the background. It connected me to home. Namaste

Oh boy, again insomnia and again I reach for one of your Nidra teachings. To have an image of a red ball at the base of my spine at 3:00 AM in bed is so comforting. I will visit this one again, as slowly I relaxed enough to turn off the computer, roll over and fall asleep. EWYTT

2pm. Really connected with this! I slept in after being up late painting and decided to do this before getting out of the house for the day. It was very moving and supportive. I journalled afterwards and am really seeing how these practices are impacting my relationships in positive ways. I am becoming more and more aware about boundaries and how they have played a role in how life/ relationships have unfolded. Through the support of yoga nidra and working with Muladhara, I am finding it easier to look at these things and work towards changing them rather than dwelling on the past or how I wish I had the info before. For some reason made me think of the scenes in the movie the Fountain when he is meditating with the Tree :)

What wonderful background noises, truly allowing the sounds of the earth and nature to provide the very nurturing and support she gives. I practiced in the evening and found this to be very suiting to my situation. My sankalpa surprised me as certain things unfolded. “I am strong, I am supported; I turn strife into experience”. I felt as though my right hand was holding something, as though I could not let go. It was very interesting to see as I connected with my spine, my body’s very structural base, that I was able to let go (with that right hand tension) and realize that my recent thinking was reversed. I have been feeling as though I am forced to be strong through the struggles of strife whilst lacking support, when, in reality I am able to turn strife into experience through the supports and strength that I have!
    Thank you!!!

    Namaste! I practiced around 1:50 P.M. on Sept. 30, 2023.
I loved the rotation of awareness focusing on bones for some reason. They seem to store something that gets released when I focus on them. The grounding intention at the start, and the visualizations of the different nourishing roots at the end was great.
It did end a bit abruptly as I was expecting a callback to the Sankalpa before an ad started. 😅

For the past several months I have been listening to your exquisite Yoga Nidras. When I am receiving acupuncture I play one. I am so grateful for your loving kindness, the way in which you phrase and pace each recording. I have just listened to the Manapura Third Chakra on Insight Timer. Thank you for these gifts for body, mind and spirit. 💚🙏🏼🕊️

I did this yoga nidra after doing day 1 of your 7 day immersion yoga of August 22. It worked really well. Thanks Ally. X

Thank you Ally. This was a beautiful practice for me. I felt like I truly embodied my Sankalpa and I loved the sense of deep calm I am in now. Gratitude to you ✨
