I like how Bounceyboy in the beginning, around the 27:30 mark, put down his controller during the one slow spot he saw to clap for that anonymous $2,000 donation that they called out. I'm not saying any of the runners are bad people for not doing so, but sometimes you see they have a slow point and they don't stop to clap for a donation or anything. I dunno; I just think this is what makes it clear that BB has a heart of pure gold. ^^;
I love watching speed runs that know every detail of the game and does it perfectly but I also love seeing this much skilled mixed with small mistakes, makes it more enjoyably human imo
The sign of a good performer ain't how many perfect runs they have, it's how well they deal with the imperfect runs. Seeing a runner make mistakes and just roll with it is legit impressive, especially with that many eyes on them

I would load it up and play again right now if I could. Too bad my Gamecube got rekt by Hurricane Harvey.

It's when you finish bianco before unlocking gelato beach, it adds a few seconds in extra cutscenes but its a lot safer because you can do the bianco secret level early as it is known to be a hard level and kill runs, it makes resetting less upsetting having a run die like 20 mins into the run instead of near the end. I believe it's called the german route because the route was made popular by a german streamer/community, i dont remember his name though
It helps that there is a much larger community now as well. Having more runners to select from helps ensure that the the skills and personality are there.
i'm new to this, how do speed runners find out about all these touchy glitches? just through playing the game thousands of times collectively and sharing their knowledge? i've seen some glitches before, not in this game, but in others where it seems literally impossible to discover it randomly.
I have yet to see a speedrunner get really frustrated with a speed run. So either I'm very ignorant in this part of the gaming scene, or it is a beautiful thing.
