The most beautifully tragic 90s anime you've never heard of - "Oniisama E."
I wanted to showcase the surrealism and melancholic feeling of the anime in this video. I love this anime so much (except for the last 4 episodes...pretending those don't exist). It's twisted, overdramatic, sometimes silly, sometimes insightful. I felt deeply attached to the characters, who are all very flawed people.
I wish I could faithfully recommend this to people who enjoy watching women fall in love, but alas, this anime suffers from "made in the 90s" syndrome, so you won't get the happy ending you're looking for. It's worth a watch anyway.
