Absolute master at work, probably the best teacher I have ever learned something from. The way you give subtle tips like how to hold a barre chord and avoid buzzing etc... A real wise teacher!
I’ve been playing guitar for 45 years and you sir still inspire me with your gift of sharing your knowledge and time in a way that almost makes it easy , gratitudes to you Shane 🙏
Wow! This song is emotional! You can pick the melody right out of three chords! You're a GREAT instructor Shane! I'm 62 and love watching your tutorials! Never boring!
@@GuitarAtWork I am a professor who teaches digital sound design at a college here in Michigan. So to see another person doing such great lesson work I had to comment.
Once again exactly the kind of lesson I’m hoping to learn, not just the correct chords and strum but the fills, riffs and/or colour that teach you really how to play guitar. Thanks again Shane.
Thank you Wally - always appreciate your encouragement. I have a lot of fun making these videos and also making new friends along the way. My best to you! Shane
Just today, when I was planning to give away my guitar as I am not playing it, I find this guy. WHY WHY WHY ... Is the Universe trying to tell me something here ? He is seriously good 😄
Very very nice teaching... "if you hit the B its not the end of the world and ppl. wont throw food at you" I smiled while learning.... Thx and greets from Germany
Let us not forget to give proper credit to the lead guitarist, James Calvin Wilsey, who came up with the haunting guitar lick that ran throughout the Isaak-written song, without it, it would have been just an average song at best. R.I.P Mr. Wilsey 🎸
I was so lucky to have seen this lovely lead guitar player twice. On the first tour I played a Foosball in billiard Club and the second time around a small venue. His lead guitar textures were probably the prettiest I'd heard at that point in my life... Rest well, James Calvin Wilsey
This was an incredible tutorial, thank you! I've been playing guitar for 14 years now and I have struggled to get beyond playing "campfire" versions of songs and I think this is a great bridge to moving on, so thank you!
You are a legend of teaching guitar in my eyes. Perfect lesson for beginners or intermediates or people like me who have played for years but lazily. Thanks for your guidance.
Im 39 years old and started 6 months ago to learn guitar. Randomly saw this video and slowly put back my guitar. In to the cupboard. I need another hobby :-D
Seems easy in the first watch, but after watching it 20 times, I’m getting closer and closer.. fantastic!! Thank you so much, this is the best version for 1 guitar!:)
