If you like Zelda II, you should try the fan remake called "Zelda II: Link is Adventursome" by HoverBat. It's made from the ground up in Game Maker. I love the original and this isn't really a replacement but the fan game is amazing in its own right and is so much of Zelda II but also something Nintendo would never have made.

it's because I trusted there to be a platform under it, the level was mostly trust worthy until that point (for blind falls)
