The backdrop to your intro is beautiful. I’m an experienced sewist and I’m gleaning information from your videos. Very good content, thanks for sharing!

Wow! Thank you for the wonderful compliment! You've made my day! The backdrop is actually the sewing shack at our friends' house. His mother used that sewing shack to teach people how to sew back in the 1960s. Seemed a good fit. So glad you enjoyed the video!

Thank you so much for this video, it’s so clear to follow! I’ve been sewing for a few years but have big gaps in my knowledge because I’m self-taught, so your explanation on ease was really useful!

I know this is gonna sound crazy, but I have been sewing since I was 12, and I'm 60 now. I even took sewing classes as a teen, and no one ever explained this to me. I have made children's clothing, and I am a quilter. I have made garments for myself, some successful, and some not. Now that I am older, and my body is shaped differently, I am having trouble getting things to fit. I guess we never stop learning! Lol Thank you for this video, I may have to watch it again! Lol
