Thank you! All the guides on Wiki didn't help me...they made me more confused. But this is clear, and I have actually learned teeline shorthand from this! :)

Alot of teeline shorthand is about positioning and size of your letters, so it really does make sense.

Well I would personally make the O bigger than the S to distinguish them apart, simple really.

Can anyone see a difference between O and S? apart from context I can't see any way to easily distinguish between the two...

Hi Sue, how can I make sure that a website is offering an accresited Teeline course? Thanks very much for your help in advance.

Touché. But that doesn't really matter, because there is no other shorthand outline the same as that of the letter 'y'. Those for 'h' and 'p', on the other hand, are identical, except that 'p' cuts the line, as it does in longhand, whereas 'h' doesn't.

what is the difference between writting of sand o in tee line
    please reply

sriram Suggu There's no difference between the 's' and the full 'o' in Teeline, except if you choose to make the 's' a bit smaller. However, the full 'o' in Teeline is rarely used in outlines; instead, we usually use the 'o' indicator, which is the bottom half of the 'o'. That way you can distinguish between the 'o' and the 's', and the 'o' indicator is quicker to write anyway which is the whole point of Teeline. Hope that helped!

'If a letter cuts the line, so does the teeline' - I have never done shorthand but I can see already that that is wrong

No sense compared to Gregg or cross eclectic system. So much effort to learn a system which does not allow you to reach a good speed.
