Saw Jon Spencer twice with Heavy Trash (both times fantastic) and last year I finally had a chance to see the Blues Explosion and it was amazing. That guy OWNS any stage he sets foot on.
Coming up in the 90's with bands like The Delta 72 but having staying power influencing so many other bands says a lot about the JSBX influence. Be the Blues. Be #1 in your own life!

Love the country-bluesified Black Flag cover! These guys rule! but I much prefer John Spencer's classic-rock-spazz-boy guitar solos to the guy with the telecaster. That one in Boss Hogg, "I Dig You" is the best ever! :)

I saw these guys with Jesus Lizard in 1992 and that show was one of the best I've ever seen. Blues Explosion are an amazing live show.
