3-4 Years ago Ty Segall played on a small festival in germany. Befor his show the electricity of the whole festival collapsed. After a couple of hours they managed to power up a really really small stage. most of the artist allready left the festival. but ty says "fuck it, lets do it" and that show was one of my most intense shows i ever have witness. great guy!
Yeah, they do amazing job. I think the band gets a lot of input on the final mixes as well, thus the long delays between broadcast and TH-cam release. Worth it though

Mikal Cronin was always the best right hand man for Ty .. theyre so good together ..and Cronins 2011 self titled is still such a stand out and timeless record .. “get along” will always be a road trip staple in my car :)
Basically anything Ty touches is gold, instantly. Bad-bad fucking dude. I also love how you can see the drummer absolutely beaming behind is mask in Harmonize, looks like so much fun.
Never had an artist like ty found all his earliest stuff when i was young chap first and fell in love with it and even thoe all his newest stuff is super different i still just love every direction he goes in hes just the best. Love you ty❤️

I saw Ty Segall and all of the amazing musicians in his band some weeks ago performing at the beach at zandvoort. It was the best! Sunset. Surfers in the sea, relaxed crowd/public and the band going wild💕
Saw him in Detroit on the 6th and my god he rearranged most of his iconic songs into a much more sludge like and brutally heavy renditions. The band played all of the songs here except for Harmonizer and the performance was some how even better than the KEXP one. Amazing!

I love Ty but I'm always a little disappointed that his studio albums aren't heavy enough, mix wise. These KEXP sets satisfy that need though
