I just got some movement back in my fingers about 2 weeks ago. I’m not ready for this video yet but I’m excited and hopeful that one day I’ll be able to do these exercises. Thanks for making another awesome video!
Stick with it my friend keep doing your shoulder and scapula exercises and it will improve even more, be patient with yourself I had to learn that, but this ladies videos if you stick to them will get you results.
Thank you so much for sharing the above video. Very helpful indeed . Please share the exercise as fingers tend to curl up. Will be obligated. Thank you so much❤❤
I really needed this, thank you soo much! You are AWESOME Elyse 💯👌🏽I have been recommending your videos to various people that encounter that have suffered a stroke also ENCOURAGING them to work as often as home as they can, reminding them that outpatient therapy is on a time limit and it's not a every day thing 😊👊🏽
You are so welcome! Thank you so much for sharing. And yes! You know better than anyone that recovery is ongoing and doesn’t stop stop outside of formal therapy❤️💪☺️
Thank you for the work you do for people who have had a stroke. It has been 12 years since my stroke. Am I too late in doing these exercises? Many thanks!
I've found out another position that helped me to bring out the fingers: I hold my arm out in front of my body (like mimicing the trunk of an elephant), supported at the ellbow with the unaffected hand. It is easier for me then to open my hand.
Hey Elyse I will be referring you another stroke victim your way as soon as I get more information about him, and he is out the hospital. Thank again for all you do🕊😇🕊
Great question! Absolutely they can! While ALS is a progressive disease, anything that can be done to maintain function, movement, and strength can be helpful ☺️
