I don't think I've ever ran Beta Ray Bill before Squared Off came out. He was surprisingly strong, and obviously, the Squared Off archetype almost guarantees that he always has a good target. Good call on sneak attack. I've tried to make it work and have never been able to get it going properly. It always seems fun but just doesn't hit right. I think swapping an ally for Goliath may be a solid option. Swing for 5 with Goliath, and then using You Got This combo really well together.

I like Black Panther in Thor a lot, that's a good call! I like decks built with a "limited card pool", either because the builder doesn't own a full collection or by fiat. I like making "Core plus four (packs)" decks because it's a fun challenge to be limited to such a degree. It might be fun to look up some of those (not mine... they're not very good)!
Loved the in-depth discussion about my deck! December really got away from me, there is a gameplay video that I want to make with the deck. I think it's got legs!
I'm really enjoying these creative builds you've been showcasing; plus, it's great hearing both of your insights on them. I haven't yet built a deck using Beta Ray Bill and generally avoid the ultra-expensive allies, but some of those new Leadership cards really give these cards a chance at life in decks.
Can you gentlemen occasionally comment when decks are not good for multiplayer/multi-hero games? I play half true solo and half with a friend. Kudos, excellent discussion as always.
Love Beta Ray Bill! It is cool to see Valkyrie get some nee tricks too. Guys this was an awesome episode and my new favorite series. As for new decks you should check out! I recently played an amazing leadership scarlet witch deck that played Bill and other high cost allies with chaos magic - it was named after an Aladdin / Jafar reference 😂. You should cover it as Wanda doesn't get much love outside of justice I find. Happy Holidays!
Good episode, I always have traying use some high cost card with Heros with singular economy. I really enjoy this thor deck and I will try someday. Besides, as a "expert" Valkyre user, to my playstyle other deck doesn't work for me, specially in single mode and when I use Valkyre with multiplayer I simply ask to someone to remove the though status to I make the big heavy damage. Well, that is my perspective.
I had always glossed over the likes of Sneak Attack, Save the Day etc...but now also with "You Got This"...the combos with Sneak Attack are awesome! That Thor deck looks really fun and I might have to dust off Valkyrie to try out that Iwassframed deck...! There may be life in Brunnhilde yet!!
