This literally makes me want to cry. I have been there twice and it is one of the best places ever. I hope that they are able to restore it to the way it was.
Franklin High School's prom was held there that Saturday evening. It's astounding to realize they were roaming all that flooded area only hours before it filled up.
I was at a board game convention and live locally. Could have been alot worse had they not had a plan of action and good judgment to implement it before it was too late. Wyndham Hotel people got stuck looking out their balconies with water rising - Very scary! Opryland Hotel is so much bigger but they managed to get 1,500 people out. All I lost was my car...I'm sad for people who lost their house or loved ones - this was no minor flood! Whole areas of Nashville are under water!
Where's the relocation assistance, debit cards, cries of racism, looting, lawlessness, etc...? Oh wait, these are responsible Southerners with ethics and values. And best of all, they pay taxes!
I just visited this hotel recently, so if you want to see it's most recent condition, check out my video on my channel! And also our boat ride tour guide (Haha that rhymed) said that their 85 pound catfish escaped during this flood! LOL

Prayers and love sent to Nashville on my behalf. - Ana
My husband helped build the part of the Hotel called the Deltal Island. It is such a tragedy for it to be gone.

This is the inside of the Opryland Hotel, near the Cascades Lounge. The General Jackson entrance and Opry Mills are flooded too from what I've heard.
