I think it goes without saying that if you folks figure out how to mass produce these at even 90% of that quality, maybe less than $250, and even without the custom fit/scaling, I'm sure they would sell. I know I would buy one.
I recently learned another great technique for joining 3d printed parts. You can put a bit of filament in the chuck of a dremel, turn it on, and use it to "paint" over the seams. The friction between the spinning filament and the printed surface will melt both just a little bit, and leave something that looks exactly like a welded metal seam. It's super strong and the subtle welded texture really helps your brain convince itself that it's looking at a real piece of equipment.
Having watched the behind the scenes for this build, it was a wild ride seeing the whole process. Great job and you two are a great inspiration for my own projects.
Your guys’ videos have been instrumental to my journey as a maker. 7 years ago I began my prop making journey and not long after I found your channel, everything that I learned from you guys along the way is a big reason for where I am today. I am now a professional special effects artist and a large part of that achievement is thanks to you!
You know what, aside from just how insanely talented you are, the thing that gave me the most joy and happiness was seeing just how much joy and happiness you got from making and building and creating, when something gives you that much joy you're so much more likely to succeed, i thoroughly enjoyed this video and so had to subscribe.
SO inspiring! I watched ALL the way through & never had a dull moment.. it’s great to have all the ‘toys’ to do the job, but also the beauty of knowing it can be done another way~ the ‘art’ of Cosplay! #goals 👍
I've been watching your videos for a while now, and I gotta say, you guys never seem to disappoint me. I really love watching you guys make really cool props from games, tv shows, and movies. Proud of your hard work, and the time and effort you guys put into each and every one of the props you make. Can't wait to see more radical props you guys make
Always beautiful stuff. It was great meeting you both and seeing these up close. Also, honored to be included in your video! (I was the Buzz Lightyear)
Still my all time favorite channel😊 You two are simply the best! Thank you so much for still sharing you’re passion as makers. Always something new and inspiring. All the best, have a great one. Cheers😉
I am so glad I stumbled upon this video. I saw the AMAZING costumes at Dragoncon but had no idea what they were from. I just knew they looked fantastic.
seeing Laszlo and Nandor at 44:54 made my day a little bit, but WOW the work you did on this build looks fantastic! lots of love went into it, I can tell
You two have more talent in your baby finger then I do in my entire body. I love watching your videos and finished products. My grandsons ask my wife and I to make these crazy costumes and I'm like I wish you two lived next door!
Just wanted to say I love watching you two. It makes my night, gives me a smile. You both are the best and I love LOVE the projects. I'm starting to make my own list of things I'll need to start Making. Thank you both, again. ❤️🍻
Your "goo" does not need air to dry. It needs off gassing to be able to escape. Acetone is a VOC, Volatile Organic Compound. It evaporates very quickly causing the cold sensation as it dries. The fumes are very flammable.
Hey there, Have you ever thought about using helmet pad kits for the inside of the helmet? Tactical helmets all use these pads that velcro on the inside of their helmets and can purchased in different sizes, thicknesses, padding densities, shapes, etc, as well as mixed and matched so as to be custom fitted and help from the user from getting hotspots from long term wearing. They also have different materials that wrap around the foam for moister wicking. These can be purchased from Amazon, Airsoft stores, tactical helmet sellers etc and have a wide price range so they do not need to be expensive. Just a thought. 😊😊😊
Is not only the great prop making projects you do and how beautiful they look, but for me the real diamond in these tutorial/projects videos are the superb chemistry, know how, explanations and pure joy and fun you two put into them, making them a full learning and super enjoyable experience...the cherry on top...GAG REEL, SUPERB!!👍👍👍
A friend of mine shared a link to your page tonight. This is the first video I've watched, loved it! Last year was my first time at Dragon Con (just got back from my second). I've decided I'm going to cosplay next year and this video has me even more excited about it! Looking forward to learning more from you two. And who knows! Maybe I'll see you both next year!
The helmets turned out amazing! I was iffy about the fan attaching directly to the mesh and leaving the mesh un-backed but seeing how it turned out once the details were attached, I can see the method to the madness! I may have to give these a go some day as well, I absolutely *love* satisfactory. Do you plan on eventually making any accessories, such as the multitool, the xeno zapper/basher, any of those? I think it would really make it all come together.
These were so great to see up close, and it was FANTASTIC to see you two at DragonCon again! Thanks for that little DragonCon video at the end. Was a nice shot of happy. ^_^
It has been a while since I've watched one of your builds, it was so satisfying. I'm not a cosplayer, but I love costumes and movie and game props. You guys do it so well. Thanks
I absolutely adore that you guys made satisfactory costumes. I love that game. It wouldn't have been the 1st thing that came to mind for cosplay for me, but I'm not going to lie it just feels right seeing you guys walk around in those costumes.
44:53 CROW! Your guys stuff looks incredible. It's so cool to see your journey to making very high quality stuff. Its basically at movie prop quality now.
Love Satisfactory, 200+ hours in on my third playthrough and the cheeky, almost slapstick builders in the videos are always fun. You did a great job with the costume, especially the helmets! Slightly jealous of them and regretting selling my printers as it would have been a great project for them!
The most amazing thing about Punished Props is that it doesn't even matter if you want to build the specific prop that he's working on. It's the process that teaches you how to make anything...
Unique, but I have to say one thing that others don't understand the effort of making these things and they only see the result of the work or maybe find fault with it. But the important thing is that you created this work with your love and passion and your knowledge and art. We, who enjoyed watching the construction and its result, always support you and wish you health and success😊😊😊❤❤❤
Satisfactory is my most played game ever and as someone with no friends who hold even a passing interest in the game, its very cool to see someone put in the effort you did here
By the looks of it, you guys had the coolest and best looking outfits at the Dragon Con!! Super fun video to watch and you got your self a new subscriber!
Amazing work guys! So incredible. Oh... And it helps to remove resin supports before curing. Might save ya some time later. Phenomenal work as always!!!
I’ve been printing less than a year but love it; Satisfactory is an amazing game (literally built a pc for it) but your helmet is so flipping clean. Love the work!
Great seeing another upload from you guys. That mesh on the visor keeps tricking me! Even though you put it on the outside it looks like it's behind the visor!
Amazing video from start to finish seriously you guys do such a great job going over the whole process of everything that goes into making your projects!
Relationship goals lol. But in all seriousness, I just recently got a very small 3d printer and this is my first time seeing this channel and I am so inspired to try to figure out some of the 3d modeling programs rn. The costumes looked so freaking cool!!!
I have always admired how much you guys share with the community. I don't think I have ever seen anyone share as much skill and knowledge in this field with ohers, and from what I can tell, you guys really started the trend of doing that at all. Don't remember anyone doing it before you, so thank you =]
I can confirm, the Anycubic Photon printers are extremely impressive, especially for their relative price. I expect they are a bit slower than a DLP based SLA printer because there's going to be some light leak through the LCD limiting the UV light source brightness, but it's hard not to recommend if you want to try out resin printing.
Fun fact, i did some temp work at the golden artist colors factory way back in college. I worked in shipping one summer and a different summer I worked in bottling (mostly putting the caps and labels on the bottles).
This is absolutely amazing work .. @9:35 I'm surprised you didn't use a dowel pin to align your parts. I started doing this when I built parts that needed to be assembled after printing in chunks. At some point I need to try printing in ABS
It's insane how good this turned out!!! Amazing!!!
Thank you SO MUCH! We love your game and can't wait to play through it again. =D

I gotta get the fit 😮
Goat simulator
It’s insane how good your game is.

I'll have to use this in the future, what a great idea
So.. like the spin welder I had as a kid?
What a clever idea!
It's obvious you guys were having an absolute blast, and that is very happy making indeed! And the costumes look amazing, truly.
Thank you, we had so much fun both making the costumes and wearing them at Dragon Con!
Having watched the behind the scenes for this build, it was a wild ride seeing the whole process. Great job and you two are a great inspiration for my own projects.
It was definitely a wild ride! =D
Thank you so much!
Thanks for making grandparent-approved videos, love sharing these with family!
Amazing work as always! And hey shout out to the person who used my templates to make the Mando armor in your Dragon Con montage! :)
Hurray! Thanks for sharing your templates.
The last dab made me smile despite the lack of hot sauce!
The helmets and costumes look excellent. Well done. I hope a satisfactory army shows up somewhere.
Thank you so much!
I hope so too!

Always beautiful stuff. It was great meeting you both and seeing these up close. Also, honored to be included in your video! (I was the Buzz Lightyear)
Hooraaaay! Your Buzz was INCREDIBLE! =D
That hexagon wrap on the visor takes it to another level
Always love to see Brit and Bill together. Have always loved their videos and I'm sure that will continue. Thank you two!
Still my all time favorite channel😊 You two are simply the best! Thank you so much for still sharing you’re passion as makers. Always something new and inspiring. All the best, have a great one. Cheers😉

Golly, y'all make this stuff look so easy, but it couldn't be farther from it! So much skill and talent!

You're most welcome! Have fun making!
Awesome, I love Satisfactory!
Hurray!
It turned out really great, and it is so nice seeing you two together having so much fun!
Btw. the Fusion360 course is really good and helpful.
My wife and I have played SO much Satisfactory. Absolutely love these. They turned out great!

Luv the call out to Hot Ones. I've been a fan since Season 8. Season 19 just launched their first episode. Cheers.
Bill, you and Britt are so inspirational, thank you for being AWESOME!!! The finished product looks amazing as usual!!!
Those were super cool in person, I had no idea they were 3D printed! There was no filament texture or anything!
Thanks Jake, so glad we ran into you! =D
@@punishedprops likewise, can't wait to see what you guys come up with next year!

The mesh was so handy for airflow. I really do want to make more of the accessories. Especially the multi-tool!
Impressive. Your prop design and patience has really paid off. Papa Ted is probably watching this and grinning ear to ear.
These were so great to see up close, and it was FANTASTIC to see you two at DragonCon again! Thanks for that little DragonCon video at the end. Was a nice shot of happy. ^_^
Never heard of the game but that genre of costume design is my absolute all time favourite! I love these so much!
Love being able to see all the BTS goodness on this. So great!!!!
Thank you so much Brian! =D
Awwww yeah! So much learning! Thanks Bill and Britt!
Thanks so much friend! =D
the two of you are so CUTE, LOVE how wel you both work together 💕💕
This might be your finest build ever; Incredible end result. Also love your teamwork!
Great seeing how happy you both are about the great costume and being together doing it.

Bill I was the NED-B. It was great meeting you, even if talking muffled through a costume. You guys are always an inspiration and great videos!
I saw you guys there and had no idea it was y'all! Was blown away by the costumes! Incredible to see in person.
Thank you!
Fantastic work! Glad to see y'all back in live action costumes!
Thank you!
44:53 CROW! Your guys stuff looks incredible. It's so cool to see your journey to making very high quality stuff. Its basically at movie prop quality now.
SPACERS!!!! Shoutout to Ivan Miranda!
Awesome build!
Military surplus flight suits make good starting point for many costumes, too.
Love Satisfactory, 200+ hours in on my third playthrough and the cheeky, almost slapstick builders in the videos are always fun. You did a great job with the costume, especially the helmets! Slightly jealous of them and regretting selling my printers as it would have been a great project for them!
Thank you so much! We hit 150 hours ourselves and can't wait to put even more time into another playthrough.
Seriously awesome! Great build!
Excellent work. The labor intensive task of producing a functional helmet I can relate to. Subbed.
Those helmets looked soooo good, great job

By the looks of it, you guys had the coolest and best looking outfits at the Dragon Con!! Super fun video to watch and you got your self a new subscriber!
44:45 That guy is awesome too! Doesn't take away from your build though, really impressive stuff!
Wow that is amazing! I really want to make my own props so watching your videos makes me more excited!
That's excellent news! You're gonna have so much fun.
I gotta say, the fidelity of your projects just keeps getting better over time. I can't believe what you're capable of doing with these tools
It’s truly satisfactory
Ayo !! You guys never fails to amaze me with these UNBELIVABLE recreations ! A handmade helmet with a colling fan and lights ?? That's so sick man
The mount of patience, skill, knowledge, determination and gear to make these is mind boggling
this was good fun to watch. Thanks for sharing and for all the new info. Always learning :)
DragonCon is a lot of fun, I'm so glad to see it still going strong. These costumes look awesome btw great job!
Really excited about your tutorials in Fusion 360. Ive been watching tutorials but having your take in relation to props will be awesome.
You're gonna have a ton of fun in Fusion!
Amazing work guys! So incredible.
Oh... And it helps to remove resin supports before curing. Might save ya some time later.
Phenomenal work as always!!!
another great video and very instructional!
I’ve been printing less than a year but love it; Satisfactory is an amazing game (literally built a pc for it) but your helmet is so flipping clean. Love the work!
The both of you are a great couple, you can feel the love! The costumes turned out amazing 👌
Awe, thank you so much!
Awesome job ❤
You guys are amazing!!! Everything turned out so nice!
These came out so great. It's amazing how well they came out for a mad dash to the finish line.

"Spacers!"
If anyone is wondering, it is what Ivan Miranda says
Spacers!
Great GAME, great printjob, great 3d-modeling! 👍👍👍

@@punishedprops still came out AMAZING. I'm still looking for a new printer that does ABS

ty so much for your amazing content!!!! You both knocked it right out of the park on this one!
Very exciting. Congrats on your awesome costumes!
Thanks!
