In this workshop, you will discover the 10 best practices to become a SOLIDWORKS Pro in days (not years) without boring practice, expensive training classes, or any pointless theory.
@EasyCADSolutions
In this tutorial, we will learn about how to make a flat ring-type toroid structure with a detailed honeycomb pattern that spreads uniformly all over the surface.
This geometry is a bit difficult but with a proper approach, anyone can make it easier. So, follow the tutorial to know the easiest way to create it.
Important Command Used:
-Extrude Boss/ Base
-Extrude Cut
-Fillet (1 mm)
-Flex (Bending and Stretching)
-Reference Geometry (Axis)
-Combine

Give this man The Nobel Prize for modelling.
Thank you 🙏
I am Glad to hear this 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thanx!!!
Thanks for teaching complex 3d modelling
Welcome 😇
Great, i am following all of your videos 1 by 1 and consuming a lot of good content. thanks
Great 👌
Great video, easy to follow
Thanks 👍
Easy CAD Solutions - I love all your videos, thanks for sharing. I've noticed you have a very intuitive understanding of patterning, sometimes through geometric relations and specific angles, or creating unit cells like here at 1:54, and so forth. I am wondering if you have any resources for learning and/or improving how to think and approach pattern design? Thanks again.
Thanks a lot 🙏
Actually i searched the designs from internet and then implement it according to solidworks commands. If you need any help so can contact me through my mail id: nishant13071992@gmail.com
you got me... nice video.
Thank you for watching 🙏🏼
Keep Supporting 🙏🙏
excellent
Thanks 😇
Your videos are awesome. Background music interact me to watch full video.
Thanks 👍
ni sabia que fuera posible eso
Great design Easy CAD I am new to solid works and was wondering if there would be a way to convert this into a bowl shape instead of a ring
On a bowl it's so much tricky and time taking but possible
That's trivlal to do in Houdini.
Would love to see how this behave when you change the original hexagon to a pentagon.. ( 5 sided polygon)
I will try it soon
@@EasyCADSolutions That should be interesting- GOOD LUCK- since a pentagon has an uneven number of non-parallel sides!
Oops- had to make mine a little larger. My SW (2015 ver) was unable to do 30 deg flex on the last flex operation, so I reduced it to 20 deg, then did an array of 18 instead of 12. Came out nice, though!
Great 👍
They Key is to understand the concept and you made it
Congratulations 💐💐
@@EasyCADSolutions Thanks! ✨
It isn't an automatic option to curve the pattern instead of giving the degrees in flex tool? Or you know how can i know the degree i need for different diameters?
You can scale it up to required dia

hi, do you have a
practice as straw pattern on a sphere?
Straw pattern??
I don't understand
Is it star or straw??
@@EasyCADSolutions or fabric pattern
Do you have any Images??
If Yes, then mail me on nishant13071992@gmail.com
When i combine for the second time i get a error saying unable to create this feature because it would result in zero thickness geometry
Strange🤔, Did you follow the exact steps or something different approach?
Sir I done this shape and I need to mate it with a flate plate tu make like a bowl. Can you show me how to do it? I cant mate this shape with something else
Do you mean closing the open side at the bottom to make a bowl??
@@EasyCADSolutions Yes. make a bowl with this as the sides. When i mate it, it goes everywhere
I am not able to get the combine command it is by default disabled how can I fix this
Maybe the bodies are surface bodies or you are using the trial version of Solidworks
can anyone tell where is the flex option in fusion 360?
I think fusion 360 doesn't have a flex option
You can contact me via WhatsApp for more queries +919793662583
@@EasyCADSolutions Okay Thanks. Your tutorials are really super cool. Incase of any queries I'll contact you
Thank you 👍
I need help!
At 2:20 when I select it show two Planes option but it is not selecting two Planes .
Please help is there is other way🙏🏻
I understand, Just do two things
First mirror the solid body before flex (about its one of the plane which i use to make axis)
Noe, then use flex as I shown in the video but this time take the angle 18 degrees only and also deceased the circular pattern instance by 5
@@EasyCADSolutions tq Nishant sir❤️
But I do 72 degree instead of 18😃
Thank for showing me path
@@EasyCADSolutions but it again happen at 3:57🤦🏻♂️😭
@@EasyCADSolutions one more help! Plz🙏🏻
I want to make custom pc for solidworks and creo
Plz give me list of specifications ie:Ram, rom, graphic etc
And if possible give approximate cost
Plz plz plz🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
this was great and i want to really learn but it was too fast to follow. have to keep going back and forth also i took 3 classes to learn solidworks and there was even an advanced class but we didnt even learn about flex. i feel liek it was wasted. how can i really learn it or autocad or any cad properly and thoroughly?
thanks
I understand, Consistent Practice will make you better and better
Happy Modelling 🤗

Im guessing you have a career of some sort doing this?
no shortcut or clic Indicator, super hard to follow.
Sorry for that, i will consider the click indicator in my upcoming videos and thank you for watching
My printer can't print it :( XD
Ohh i see, may be this model requires some modifications to 3d print
@@EasyCADSolutions yeah, I need to remove all holes haha
😅
@@EasyCADSolutions but you did a nice job! Maybe I will print one for me hahaha
