Very nice, I have a Trapezoidal screw to do so will definitely come back to this. One thing, in your sketching of the nut, when you are dimensioning to the centreline, if you move the mouse beyond the line it comes up with a diameter instead of a radius. I use it all the time, I find it much easier to work with diameters.

I hope you’re doing well! I have a couple of ideas for a mechanical auto disengaging lead screw limit system nut that I’d like to share with you.
    Can you design it?
Segmented Nut Design: This would involve the nut being split into 2 or 4 pieces, held together by a spring. When the screw hits a stop, a spreader cone would disengage the nut.
Cone-Shaped Ramp Nut: In this idea, a cone-shaped ramp nut could be positioned at the end of the shaft or along it with a jam nut. A spring-loaded half nut would then roll up onto the ramp to disengage.
I think both concepts could offer some interesting functionality. Let me know your thoughts, and if you’d like to chat further!
    Best,
    Dean

Great video. How did you calculate screw revolution/mm = 0.25 ?

the pitch he set for helical curve is 4 milli meter per revolution
in other terms it the screw travels 1 milli meter it will rotate 1/4th rotation that is .25
