The jokes they tell/use with Fred's obsession with traps is one of my favorite bits, its too much but they know it so they just lean into it so well LOL

His performance as Shaggy's father was one of his last before he died of Parkinsons in 2014.
Also, Matthew Lillard played Shaggy in the live action Scooby Doo films from the early 2000s and then started voicing him. Don Knotts was also in the Scooby Doo video game Night of 100 Frights.

The personalities of these characters is actually present throughout every episode and they are a DELIGHT. Their characters aren’t gimmicks anymore like the original. They all bounce off each other in completely unique ways and they DEVELOP. Throw in 10/10 VA’s animation, and solid mysteries be it dumb, hilarious, or ACTUALLY terrifying with all the charm of Scooby Doo, and it’s just among the greatest iterations to date. And in my opinion, takes the crown.
Mystery Inc has to be one of, if not the best show from the franchise! Also, the guy from the museum tour is based on Don Knotts, who appeared in the New Scooby-Doo Movies, a great reference.
And Casey Kasim(the original voice of Shaggy from the 1969 series and in other series along the way) plays Mr Rogers, Shaggy’s Dad and was considered one of his final roles before he passed away and Matthew Lillard would go on to be the current running voice of shaggy in most Scooby doo media since from Mystery Incorporated, like a passing of the touch in a way.

when this aired for the first time you could immediately tell it was going to be so different from anything else the franchise had ever produced. i was a huge scooby fan and this was like a dream come true xD
I love the part where the gang gets thrown in jail by the sheriff. This is something that should happen in the original series because of how the hell these kids are able to trespass police business if they aren’t police officers or FBI or CIA. The whole gang is pretty much what you call vigilante. Kinda like Batman or Spider-Man
2:28 the guy in the bow tie is based off Don Knotts, he appears in a bunch of Scooby media. 2:21 the Luna Ghost from the live action movie appears in the background. 3:01 we have seen all of their parents a few different times but they always redesign them completely
5:24 to 5:29 It should also be said that there were early Cartoon Network bumpers featuring Johnny and Velma hitting it off. There was even one where Dexter offered to help Velma with an experiment, in which he became attracted to her, and Johnny steps into the lab to take Velma on their planned date in front of Dexter. The experiment was designing hair gel btw and Johnny even called Dexter mop top on the way out, saying he could use some gel 😂 (honestly, if Dexter was that into her, he should've just pulled the "omelette du fromage card")
I was just walking my dog when I saw this pop up on my phone. A pleasant surprise, because this show was an amazing version of Scooby Doo, and my favorite by far. I've always hoped they would do something like this show again, because this and the Scooby Doo-Blair Witch parody CN did, showed that Scooby-Doo in this style works so well.
This is NEARLY a perfect Scooby Doo show. If it wasn’t for the raw amount of time they give a certain…relationship triangle that distracts from everything else, I’d say it’s without a doubt the best show in the franchise. Ps: my favorite overall Scooby Doo is probably What’s New for those who wanna know😅👍🏻

He was also in several of 'The New Scooby Doo Movies' ,A series of hour long episodes that ha the Scooby Gang meeting with someone famous. But in this though! Each time they defeat monsters and stuffs, They gain an actual plot line that there will be clues that there is more to it than just unmasking the supernatural villains!

I enjoyed it but there are a lot of things that deserve hate
The jokes they tell/use with Fred's obsession with traps is one of my favorite bits, its too much but they know it so they just lean into it so well LOL
Fred sure does love his traps. Almost as much as he loves setting up elaborate contraptions to capture criminals.
How can you blame him? Traps sure are... nice.
Something to note: One of the people behind this show has confirmed that Fred is on the spectrum, and traps are his thing.
I absolutely love how they made Fred completely obsessed with traps to a fetish like degree
This sounds like He into other..kind of traps (i know that joke been done before)
Sometimes it feels like a neurodivergeant fixation, other times... definitely a fetish.
Mostly a hyperfixation... hopefully
Imagine him and Daphne get to the bedroom and he sets up a complex trap that drops a cage around the bed or something.
