I watched Power Rangers as a kid in the 90's and starting with MMPR and ending with Lost Galaxy. I'll be glad when my 2 pack of Ecliptor and Astronena arrives by tomorrow or so from Amazon
Please continue PR reviews! Marvel Legends Reviews are the bread and butter, but your style and insight on any figure present a comprehensive overview that helps consumers know what's best for their collections and wallets. I enjoy all your content even if I know I'm not going to buy the product.
I actually like the new Dumbbell joints that we’re getting in the figures now because they are not as easy to break like the previous neck joints that we got.
I do agree that some fans are going way too overboard on the Hasbro Hate Train. I get being pissed off at paint/detail inconsistencies, hell, there's a few things I am mad about on this Ecliptor (more on that in the next paragraph), but overall, this line has been the best thing to happen to any Super Sentai/Power Rangers fan in years. Not only does Hasbro seem committed to giving us a full team no matter how slow they are at it, but they are the only company giving us Monsters of the Week figures. That alone has earned my praises even if they are all from MMPRS1 right now. People don't seem to realize it took Hasbro years before Marvel Legends and the Star Wars Black Series became the definitive figure line for those franchises. They have to fail before they can succeed and honestly, I feel Covid has effected the lines movement far more than we are led to believe. With that in mind, I love this Ecliptor figure, but I do wish they had followed the suit's details more accurately. I don't mean the green lines. I'm okay with how they did it even though it could be better. I'm referring to the incorrect left arm and the inaccurately colored right bicep. The right bicep is actually a mechanical part and should not be black and green, rather a rusty silver/bronze color. What's sad is Hasbro created more work for themselves paint wise than they needed too. As for the the left arm, it is missing a ton of spikes that are supposed to be protruding out of his elbow (which should look like a peacock's tail feathers in form) and the backside of his shoulder.
I just ordered the Ecliptor & Astronama 2-pack and the cloaked back-suited Andros yesterday, and it should be coming in about a month or so. So, I am very excited for them to arrive.
Aw man, Ecliptor and Astrodama looks really good. When Hasbro gets a figure right, it's just a work of art. 🙌 And too bad that you didn't do a review of the Pink in Space Ranger, Cassie. I was really looking forward to seeing that review.
I'd like to see the power rangers lightning collection figures reviews continue.. just like with video games, I always watch multiple reviews to get the best picture on a figure or game and see if their worth it
Even though I'm clueless about Power Rangers shows and characters, I enjoy you're reviews of these kick ass action figures. So please continue with the reviews. These two figs look amazing. The accessories and articulation are superb. I'm more than happy with the larger scale for the monsters. Even though some are lacking in the paint apps it doesn't bother me too much. I added gold to the yellow areas of King Sphinx, have him a dark wash on the grey and painted his mouth nose and teeth.
I 100% agree with your review. I feel Eclipter is the best villain figure theyve done for Lightning Collection. Its so awesome. And I agree this Astromena is a huge upgrade. I really enjoy your Lightning Collection reviews and hope you continue them.
A lot of these lightning collection figures are a collector's dream, especially when it comes to these villains. You need a gimmick! Nothing wrong with your videos, I enjoy them specially when it’s figures I want & etc… That being said if you had a gimmick you know something that helps you go get that audience wanting more!
