The new firmware greatly improved HDR. My biggest complaint was crushed blacks, and thankfully the new update addressed this, and it has been greatly improved.
EDIT: I don't think they improved it in a legitimate manner. Will investigate this some more. Yeah peak brightness high is still over brightened but the black crush has been improved quite a bit but isn't perfect.
What's the max SDR brightness on the LG 32gs95ue monitor? Can the HDR be fixable? only want to use HDR for movies. Can't play games at high brightness. Edit: Going to buy this next week. Was waiting for A month to arrive on local store.
One more question in the game adjust, can we adjust black level and the rest? sorry again for these questions but that's what decides my purchase thank you very much because I'm afraid of having the image too sober on warzone as I found on the lg oled 27
@@SolaceinScrutinyyes absolutely, in fact I want to know if on PS5 in HDR mode I can still make a lot of image adjustments to avoid having an image that is too dark in certain places
Unfortunately you're basically locked out of all the settings other than black stabilizer with HDR enabled. It doesn't have the same flexibility as other monitors with HDR enabled. Right now I personally wouldn't recommend the monitor until a firmware update fixes its poor HDR calibration. It crushes blacks really badly.
if you open the service menu can you ever go back to the old normal menu?
to switch back to the standard-menu you have to enter the same combination for activating the service menu again.
is samsung oled g8 better ?
Would love to hear from you about the new firmware Lg just released, patch note stated hdr quality improvements.

Its right around the 250-260nit mark. HDR has already been improved with a firmware update.
I have a Neo G7. I'd be interested in ur thoughts on its (or the neo g8's) HDR performance in a video like this. Though with more commentary!

By black level do you mean the black stabilizer setting?

@@SolaceinScrutinywhat would be magical is to have a video that shows all the image settings available on ps5 in hdr 120hz mode, could you do that?
