Good luck to you. Tried a similar venture several years ago. Became a logistical nightmare. Great money but not worth it. Hope you have a solid team working for you. For one, how do you plan on collecting state taxes for every state? Are you expecting each seller to collect the taxes and submit them to each state individually?
Nope sales tax is collected and handled through the platform just like ebay does
@@RockstarFlipper You may want to check that again. Shopify helps to automate charging sales taxes, but Shopify doesn't remit or file your taxes for you. You will need to collect and file the sale tax for each state accordingly.
@@jdoe7490 Shopify has settings and a 3rd party. You set your settings up to collect sales tax on the transactions. It’s collected into my account and payments made accordingly.
This is my responsibility not sellers, so it’s not of anyone’s selling on the platforms concern 100% on me. I have it handled

I literally will be posting your inventory for sale on my platform and selling it for you... without requiring you to remove it from ebay or other locations.
@@RockstarFlipper Crosslister , yes. Doesn't the crosslisters do basically the same thing? Except they list your EBAY stuff on multiple shops like Mercari etc.? Are you selling it under your name so that the income is considered yours at tax time or do you send us 1099 forms for our taxes?

When the label is sent, can it be sent as a usps QR code? I operate strictly with my cell phone and no printer so the post office provides shipping labels through QR code. I’m definitely interested!

Not being able to do my own shipping label is a big turnoff for me. Lately, I have been shipping a lot of books Ground Advantage instead of Media Mail as it is less. It's a win-win. I save a few bucks every week and the buyer gets their item faster.

@@RockstarFlipper MM is far from dead. To ship a one pound book from Minneapolis to LA is $4.63. GA is $8.85. 2 lb. book would be $13.60 for GA. I think I'll pass.
@@stevenbond9201 either way we can set the shipping to be whatever you want calculated. Set fees. Doesn’t matter. It’s fully customizable .
@@RockstarFlipper I won't know which is the cheaper option for a book until it sells. Can I inform you which option I would prefer after I see where the item is going? Or, only exporting the puzzles and comics as their shipping options are set in stone.
When importing the items its going to charge shipping based on the service you offer.. THe label will be bought accordingly. Think of it like poshmark. Youll never see it or pay for it.

10% is not bad. How are sellers covered on return protections and other return related things? You making the label is a HUGE turnoff. How do you know the shipping information without knowing the package details? Are you saying you can save me more by emailing me a pdf of a pirate ship label vs me making that on pirate ship and I also loose the option of what carrier to choose. I flip back and forth between UPS and USPS depending on the cost and where I am going that day. If saving me 0.02 is going to require me to drive another 15 minutes wasting 1/2 a hour well that is not very efficient. Also I ship on Saturdays. USPS has a 1 hour window but UPS has 6 hour window on saturdays meaning I can use cheaper shipping and still get it to the customer a day earlier then if that needs to wait till Monday.
I am on board on having a central source to cross list to make more sales as well as get more eyes. But wow having my shipping options taken away is a massive turnoff.

Can you do a canadian seller that can easily do cross border shipping into this store? I can do that and use USPS labels and tracking. it just adds an additional business day for the shipping as dispatches into the us from where i live happen once a day.
