Looks like 1/4 of the men have beards. How times have changed since my days in the service. I shave everyday. Thank you for the video. I love the bands.
Agreed! It is really bizarre to see beards in uniform! But I think it’s case of now it’s allowed in the RAF everyone is jumping on the ‘band’wagon (forgive the pun!!). The Army are probably intruding it in 2024 (so my still serving brother tells me). My son has chosen the RAF so he could keep his beard and his waiting on his date. I haven’t told him yet that all recruits must be clean shaven😁 Beards don’t really bother me but I’m glad I’m retired now! Happy 2024 to you and all here. Ian
