    This is an absolutely immaculate performance by the Band of Her Majesty's Royal Marines ........
    Absolutely fantastic, without one wrong note or one slight mishap .... simply perfect ... Awesome.
    This is what we expect from the finest Military Band in the world ... Well Done you guys. Thank you.
    I also would like to thank the camera guy who has done a superb job. Thank you.

      I beg to differ. The Best Military Bands are The Band of the Coldstream Guards and The Band of the Irish Guards

    Two snazzy outfits. The outstanding Royal Marine Band with the sharp stepping Royal Navy. I'd like to be marching with them. The deep thunder of the Bass Drum adds as great dimension of determination, strength and spirit.

    The guy thats following the band filming on the other side of the road is chris mace who is one of the other drum majors in the royal marines.

    HM Jollies - Great to hear the Chatham Divisional Call - Used in RM Depot Deal when I was Duty Bugler in 1955! Bugle Major Wagstaff In Charge of Buglers.

      Tenor trombonist (middle one) calls out the next march for the drummers after the drum static, as the drummers do not have sheets of music and may forget what's being played next

    I must admit I'm ignorant of the repertoire of marches played by the Royal Marines - I'm used to hearing Army marches. Could some kind Marine list the marches played as I'd like to learn to identify them - thanks!

      @@militaryevents107 Illawalla* (by Charnley), and they are simply called drum solos. Drum beatings in the Royal Marines are something different :)

      @@charliekilo8944 Thé RN and RM take their drill and musical traditions prior to the change in the Army manual. Hence the difference in time keeping and drill between the services.
      People don’t realise what is called ´Navy drill’ was originally army drill until changed were made in the 1930’s and 1950’s ( bend and drive the foot).
