I’ve been binging your videos the last couple of days and have enjoyed them very much. I wanted to leave a comment here to let you know I had to go find that Quilt Club book. The barn quilt was just too cute. I have 3 graduation quilts to make this year. I also started that tradition for a graduate in 2020 when there were no celebrations or ceremonies for the graduates. I love Lori Holt quilts also and have made several. I like your plans. I have 2 of the graduate tops done. I have my grandsons to make next and then his little brother turns 6 this year so he will get a quilt too. My first quilt was for my oldest grandson when he turned 6. I figured a 6 year old wouldn’t care about mistakes as long as it was in his favorite colors. (He is graduating this year and had received a quilt every 6 years) Anyway, I subscribed and will enjoy keeping up with you. PS. I am a neighbor over in Ohio 😊

I love Pen & Paper’s book quilt! Really want to make it for my daughter who is a prolific reader. I also love all the spool quilts - and… wooly stars by Coriander.

Sister Chicks Quilting (TH-cam) made a spool quilt you might be interested in. She used selvedges for the threads on the spools. Very cute. You're new to me and I've enjoyed listening. Thank you for the video 😊👍💕
So glad to hear that you are planning to "scrap" up the browns in the spools for "Scrappy Spools"--I am planning to do the same & was a bit worried if it would be too busy. I have chosen all medium browns in the same tone. Thanks for a fun video.

I am not always good at remembering to add labels. I ordered a subscription with Sweetwater and they have several options. I like the fact that they include your printed or written name and they are not backwards. They are the same that Kimberley uses at FQS.I am keeping all my orphan hst's too to make something at the end of 2023. I was going to join Brick house last year and life got in the way, it is on the list for this year. I have reserved Homestead on Happy Little Stitch Shop. Angela is a Huge Lori fan... her shop and channels are almost Lori exclusive. Lori joins in the chat and we can speak directly to her via chat. You might want to check her out. So anyway, I am doing Lori Holts Homestead that Starts in September. It was supposed to be in March but something must have delayed it. They are house blocks too! lol and I do the free block of the month with Sherri from A quilting life each year, I have a Cory Yoder Very Coriander Christmas quilt top that was a BOM, but didn't do a backing yet. I have the panel you showed for the parm block ones and may use the blocks in the backing> I have a TON of fabric left over so I am going to complete that this year. It has been three years since I finished that BOM lol. I also am working on a sew along with GE Designs, her Amalie quilt and that starts the 20th of this month. I am also making a string quilt from Lor's book happiness is scrappiness. Leaving a couple of slots open for whatever other exciting things FQS or Lori or Gudren from GE does... Gudren has a TH-cam channel as well that you might want to check out. I am a different personality than she is, but I love her quilts. You liked her one quilt Kira I think it was. And that is enough to keep me busy for now... lol Also working on Winter Rose Manor Cross Stitch at night. Happy Stitching
I also watch the Happy Little Stitch shop with Angela. I love that Lori visits with us too. I’m also thinking of making the house quilt with Lori and Angela. In June Angela opens a Stitching with Lori club which has been so fun. Angela does private videos once a month and we also do special things for the club if you want to do them or not. You really should check it out. 😊
I made the Friendly Neighbor quilt with Corey's fabrics and panels and it is one of my favorite quilts, but it is big, I have it on my queen size bed. Love it!
For my "memories" of projects I've done, I make a book using Shutterfly with a pic, the date I finished, and who it was gifted to. I use scraps to make a scrap quilt and I know where each piece of fabric went into. I figure the book is my keepsake for when I pass away...people will know what went where. My mom quilted when she was younger and I have no idea what her quilts looked like or what she did with them (I was told she sold some). It's something I wish I had now as an adult.

Hi Tammie! I'm so happy to have just found your channel. I am also a quilter (not a great one, but learning!) and a stitcher. We have very similar taste in patterns. I'm a HUGE Lori Holt fan as well and I made her Flea Market Flowers quilt (LOVE IT!) and have the kit to start the Prairie Meadow one. Didn't get on it with the sew-a-long but her blog is so great I can still follow along. I wanted to do My Happy Place as well, but chickened out. I'll have to look through your channel and see if you showed it. I have so many quilty plans for this year. Camille Roskelly's Swoon 16 is all kitted up with her Nantucket Summer fabric and ready to start sometime. Please a couple of Spring and Fall ideas. Never enough time! I look forward to more of your videos. Thanks!

Love your videos and this year I am doing a few free BOM to work on skills. My one definite project is Hocus Pocusville from Crab Apple Hill for my DIL. I need to get that going. I also have a QAL with Jessica Dayon I did in the fall I need to complete. My intent is some scrappy string blocks and 16 patch blocks to get through what I have on hand. I look forward to spending 2023 with you ❤
Lori Holts Quilt Seeds for her upcoming Hometown collection look very similar to Cory Yoder's Friendly Neighbor pattern They will be sixteen inch blocks with eight inch quilt pattern on house side. This collection is due I believe in May. Really fun to see all the quilts you are doing.
Well, I’m not sure if you could tell by my reaction, but they’re not my favorite. But I figure “one man’s trash, is another’s treasure” so I will make the quilt and someone in my life will be THRILLED with it! 😉
