Tamie, All your quilting is beautiful. May I make a suggestion? On your low volume stars in your joy for Quilt rather than take them apart save those blocks for a border. There’s a new TH-cam channel I believe called mini little pieces or a little piece of some thing like that and she is a scrap Quilter. She makes piece of string box with all of her low volumes to use as borders in her larger quilt. It is striking. Just something to think about. You have such an open mind that maybe you’ll look at it and maybe not and that’s OK.❤

Faces bleed almost more than anything when they're cut. I highly recommend castor oil for your lip. It's anti-bacterial. It's one of those amazing potions the Lord provided us for health and wellness. It's a thicker oil but if you put it on in the evening, after you finish eating, by bedtime, it will be pretty much absorbed. I just caught myself smiling as you're sharing your family history. The "rabbit hole" stories are enjoyable and lend to making you more personable. The quilt you did for Fat Quarter Shop is gorgeous. How do you find time to do so much??!!!!!! You have such an eye for quilting scale. I think you could quilt a burlap bag and make it look gorgeous😄 Have to get that snowflake quilt on my "To Do" list (Item #238).

Tammie I went to look at the Omni 3068 and it was down with the greenish colors. I found a beige in another number. Do they make different numbers in different areas? I’m in Texas. T

So happy to watch your videos each week! After hurricane Helene, we were without power for 18 days, and without internet for 48 days! Withdrawal was awful! lol. Then just 2weeks ago, I fell and broke my arm and shoulder (dom side) so I can only watch for now. Won't be sewing for a while. Thanks for sharing your gift! Tammie, I just love it when someone has you quilt their quilt and then I find out that I own the book with the pattern! Thanks for the eye candy entertainment while I sewed binding on a quilt. I will share my accidentally mixed up fabric mishap. I made 4 Christmas Tree quilts last year. I decided to use Kona Snow as the background but didn't have enough so I ordered yardage online. While waiting for it to arrive I cut pieces from fabric I already had and began making HSTs. The yardage I received came in 2 pieces which isn't a big deal BUT one piece was Kona Snow and one piece was Kona Bone. I didn't realize it until I was too deep into the project to stop as I was making all 4 at the same time. After I quilted them it wasn't that noticeable, but wow what are the chances of that happening?

I want to add something about the two Potato Chip Quilts the Tammie recently shipped to me. I JUST had my first cataract surgery and implant done yesterday. Oh my goodness, I had no idea how bright the fabrics were in my quilts! Some of them I probably wouldn't have used had my vision been better. That said, Tammie's gorgeous quilting is magical and I love her work! Just a word of caution if you have cataracts, ask for assistance when selecting fabrics for a project!

I think I heard Jenny Doan say in a video once that if she noticed it/thought about it three times, she took it out. I think that is good advice. Always love seeing your videos of the beautiful quilts each week!
