I’m new to your you tube. Thank you for all the great ideas for storing fabric. Where did you purchase the large canvas tape that you have hanging in your sewing room? I NEED. 🌻

I do my binding the same way you do yours. So many people tell me to machine sew both sides but I don’t feel like I always have the seams lined up on front and back. So I do mine in the evening also in front of the tv with my husband in his chair next to me.

Maybe move the Barn opposite side of each block which would move the tree to opposite side

I have that cart. Now they try to sell plastic ones and the wheels are plastic. Top Notch-has large metal wheels and the Cart is metal. Tammie

Your so lucky to have these spaces for quilting. Now that the holidays are almost over with,I’m going thru my area, I have to clean it up because I only have my dining room. But I got creative and keep extra things in a large ottoman. I’m sending things I no longer use to a thrift store.

One idea….can you make examples of the different types of quilting patterns you are using? After showing the quilt you can show a graphic of what it looks like. Either light thread on very dark background and dark thread on light background. Use solid fabric or colored paper. This way we can see clearly the pattern. Keep up your amazing videos. I watch yours so often you feel like family. 😍

Loved your tour and got "sew" much inspiration for my own organization. After years of a crazy teacher life I have retired and am wanting to clean up my mess. I sew both quilts and clothing and have so much fabric! Trying to manage all of the totes is mind boggling but I am starting to wrap my head around it. Would love to have a space for a long arm!

Such nice space. I like all of the old and antique items. I have many of them too. They are my favorites. Thank you for share your home and space with us.

I enjoyed the tour. I sort my fabrics mostly by color too. I noticed you don’t have many Pinks purples or yellows. Do you prefer not to use those colors? I have a small room lined with book shelves where I store my 1-2 yard cuts. I have bolts downstairs by the Juki Longarm. I also have a room off the living room where I do most of my piecing. I too love antiques and I use them if I can. I’ve got one of the small double sided ironing boards hanging on the wall. I pin things to it like my needle felted birds. I have quite a collection of old yardsticks. Where do you store your completed quilts. I’d love to see a trunk show. I don’t know how you have the time to do videos.

Your tour was a joy to behold. I’m spread over four different spaces of our home as well. I need a chalkboard or something to write down projects as well. I believe that I do have a perfect spot for this purpose. 😊

Tammie, Thank you for an inspiring tour of your sewing spaces. I love touches of antiques, too. I like how you have utilized your Longaberger baskets for organization. I have dozens of Longaberger baskets having been a consultant. I will start using them more to pretty up my fabric organization. I need to get my Bingo card filled out for the New Year. Wow I must have missed the video where you got your second long arm! So I’m curious are you able to quilt two at a time and do you need to be present as the machines are quilting? And how long before a customer gets their quilt back once you receive it?

Thank you for sharing your quilting and sewing rooms. You are very lucky to have so much space. My sewing room is very small. I keep my fabrics in several rooms in storage totes.

Thank you so much for sharing your space with us I am a city girl my whole life, but I love vintage things. I have 4 vintage sewing machines in the table with the machines inside. I have the table that you showed in your tour as well. I have the cast vintage iron as well. My home is not full of vintage deco, but I do love and appreciate them. Oh! I also have 4 of the vintage sewing machine drawers that you have on your wall. Great idea for my sewing space. I’m to am a quilter and I own a Longarm. I own the GAMILL Vision 22 with automation. I do not quilt for profit I got it to finish my own quilts. I have own it about 11 years. I am a full time worker outside the home. I’m a piecer, quilter, a machine embroider and I do heat press on garments and press mugs all for crafting and to give away. I am learning how to do machine appliqué with my scan n cut machine and embrodiery machine because I don’t have the patients to do appliqué the tradition way tho I love appliqué look.
