They were both subjected to each others fears inside their head and cancelled each other out, Batman's fear was Joker taking over and Joker's fear was Batman (and being forgotten), leaving Batman to ultimately take control.
The truly scary part is that the Joker did win in the end. He took full control of Bruce's body defeating all his mental barriers after Scarecrow's first dose and he was ready to release him right there, not knowing of course the Joker was already out. He injected him the second dose out of pure frustration as he was confused by Bruce's (Joker) maniacal laughter and thus allowing Batman to fight back and reclaim his body. I love how Batman keeps Martha as his password and while in another universe she's the one to be devastated by Bruce's death and Thomas become The dark knight and he's worse 😂 straight up killing and giving 0 fucks 🤣.
With the number of times Crane has been injected with his own fear toxin, you'd think he'd have develop some system of preventing himself from being affected by it by now.
Scarecrow seeing Bruce just laughing and laughing after being feared would be terrifying. I'd love to see one where he looks like Bruce the whole time and it's just a personality shift.
9:48 - Notice how Jason only shoots _one_ restraint off Bruce. Bruce totally busted through the other one. Pretty interesting to see Bruce could've broken free on his own the whole time, but didn't. Why? Guess we'll never know, but I'm guessing it's because he wanted out and wanted to initiate the Knightfall Protocol.
For most of this scene Scarecrow is only in control because Batman is allowing him to be. He's resigned to die here, having lost hope of being cured of Jokerization, and viewing it as the lesser evil compared to turning into another Joker. But then Scarecrow's fear toxin ironically ends up curing him. So at that point, no reason not to just beat his ass and live.

Essentially, the *Batman Who Laughs = The Joker with mind and body of Batman* Unlike in the comics, this Batman Who Laughs calls himself the Joker and thinks he's the original, but reborn in Batman's body.
Well, Batman Who Laughs is Batman who killed Joker and was infected with the jokerification disease, so it makes sense.
@@06pag Yeah, but Batman Who Laughs in the comics knows he's Bruce Wayne while the Arkhamverse version thinks he's the actual Joker reborn in Batman's body. Very crazy people.
imagine being peak human physique and being so in control, that you're simply not scared of anything
Now imagine being the most proficient escape artist in the history of human kind, but without ur belt u can’t escape the bars and break scarecrow in half in a millisecond.
Best Batman adaption ever and WE EVEN PLAYED IT! No Dark Knight movie is ever going to beat this
r u kidding ? this is the worst game in the series ? The Batman and The Dark Knight clears this .
@@dabob878 it may not be up to the standards of its other siblings in the series and has relied on joker's mental apparition a lot but it is still a good game. just because it has a weaker presence and feel than the others world wise doesn't mean i didn't like it and its conclusion to batman's story and multiple others like mr freeze
@@randomyoutubecommentersecu7639 another one of these annoying ass haters just like those that were hating on amazing Spider-Man . This game is loads of fun and has a really good story behind it. I guess if you’re a “true fan” u probably would find the tiniest of details to cry about but if you’re a decent human you’ll enjoy this.
@@cdjthg9516 maybe he suck at the game and that's why he's bitching about it
I gotta get on whatever kush your doing sounds lit
The most saddening and depressing scene right here. Batman being unmask & his intimidating persona is blown.
Wouldn’t say saddening and depressing
What would you call it?
A fool stops fearing batman because he's Bruce Wayne.
A wise man starts fearing Bruce Wayne because he's batman
@@McCaler Because, just because he lost the mask doesn’t mean he’s not batman anymore. He had a plan just incase, it’s just a persona, he could always make another one.
@@shadophaxx2401 more like hey I know who your loved ones are and I know where you live now.
9:51 you can see bruce with his mask on for a split second, even though his mask was already taken off
Good eye
10:41 That's one stunning visual.
Coming here after that Suicide Squad of a game, good Lord I can't tell you, how much satisfying Arkham story in all is
Scarecrow said he didn't care who Batman really was but he was still surprised seeing it was Bruce Wayne under the cowl
This incarnation isn't hiding the voice at all, so that would give him away instantly.
Great ending, im glad Batman got a great sendoff and nobody compromised it
The funny thing is that Scarecrow spent the whole game thinking he was the big deal, when his only accomplishment was making Batman almost kill them all.
Rest in peace, Kevin, your voice is Bruce's, forever
R.I.P Kevin Conroy, He was the greatest Batman voice actor.
He said he wouldn't care who batman was, but was shocked that it was Bruce Wayne all along.
His reaction felt realistic. He seems surprised at first but quickly put the pieces together.
Wouldn't you be shocked if it was Elon Musk 😂
The way he said it, wow. @8:41 They do need each other though. Kinda cool that Joker admitted it.
I wished we could’ve seen Batman at this part when he is Joker lol to hear Kevin Conroy be the Joker 5:40
Love Scarecrow's reaction to the unmasking.
Almost a "Huh...that's something...anyway"
We all knew who he was from beginning of the game but when scarecrow says Wayne Bruce Wayne it just kinda give goosebumps
One of the subtle details I love in this scene is how Bruce's veins expand in his face when he's injected with the fear toxin (9:20)
"I Am Vengeance, I Am The Night, I Am BATMAN" 🦇
I just love how the inner Joker doesn't give a shit about what Scarecrow said lmao, like the Joker already knows everything so well xD
Well, Joker is crazy
A version of this scarecrow in live action would be great
Scarecrow seeing Bruce just laughing and laughing after being feared would be terrifying. I'd love to see one where he looks like Bruce the whole time and it's just a personality shift.
Who is here after the Suicide Squad trash Story?
F
RIP Kevin Conroy and thank you for everything.
batman arkham trilogy is the best purchase ive made
9:48 - Notice how Jason only shoots _one_ restraint off Bruce. Bruce totally busted through the other one. Pretty interesting to see Bruce could've broken free on his own the whole time, but didn't. Why? Guess we'll never know, but I'm guessing it's because he wanted out and wanted to initiate the Knightfall Protocol.
easier to break out with a hand free
For most of this scene Scarecrow is only in control because Batman is allowing him to be. He's resigned to die here, having lost hope of being cured of Jokerization, and viewing it as the lesser evil compared to turning into another Joker.
But then Scarecrow's fear toxin ironically ends up curing him. So at that point, no reason not to just beat his ass and live.
*This is the best Look of JOKER for me*
John noble did a phenomenal job as scarecrow.
You’d never know he’s Australian.
8:41 hamill's joker to conroy's batman. rip goat.
What game is rhai
5:01 well some men really loves to watch the world burn just like the joker
I always wondered what would have happened if Batman was just a nobody underneath the mask. Would anyone care? Like if no one knew his name but knew his face would it mean anything? Think of it as just a random dude on the street you see.
He will get famous instantly even if his a nobody.. Remember peter Parker on a movie?? His a nobody, but look what happen .. People will care even if you're a nobody behind that mask because of the impact that you made in the city as a vigilante and your track record history.. Even if you're a homeless guy you become instant Celebrity if your identity is revealed to the public, because your the batman behind that mask
@@MrBenedick14 both heroes are famous in their cities for very different reasons. Spidey gives people hope, he makes public appearances often and entertains people with his charisma, people WANT to see him. While Bats dresses all in black and stays in shadows to strike fear into criminals, always serious and unknown, even the people who he saves don't want to cross him.
If and when Spidey's identity is revealed, people would admire him more. Because he's a nobody as you said, a guy struggling to keep up on rent, a relateable person doing amazing things.
If and when Bats' identity is revealed, people would fear him less, even if he was a random guy because now they know "it's just some random guy" no reason to fear him but it's even worse when it's the rich playboy Bruce Wayne behind the mask.
I just love how both have similar moral codes but are very different in almost every other way. My favorite superheroes.
@@thevideocommenter3061 Isn't it that most people hate spider-man for the propagnda JJJ spreads about him?
@@isaacagao6576 no not most people, a very small portion. also he's even on good terms with the cops
@@thevideocommenter3061 From what I've read, most people hate Spider-man and only the few people who've been helped by him have a positive opinion of him
damn this is awesome.
would be a shame if a game comes out after that ruins it.
oh wait
Had scarecrow not stabbed Bruce a second time, Gotham would have became a playground for the Batman who laughs.
The aesthetic of everything Batman uses being this hyper tech item has it´s appeal.
10:47 ..... Cranes scream there left me chillz 🥶
"Why aren't you scared?" CUZ I'M BATMAN.
That whole shooting the stone statues part took me a minute, i was posted in a corner and every time i looked right or left and left any space out of frame another statue popped up but the sequence wouldn't move forward until i let one spawn behind me. It started to get really tense
So, as per your logic, the Batman jumpscare only happens when one of the statue spawns right behind you?
@@darkspeinwarrior that's the way it happened for me. It may not be one standing behind you but having a large section of the area off screen.
@@augury2699 Ah well, thanks for the heads up. Now I can prepare for the scare.
After such an epic scene between Scarecrow and Batman it’s a shame I had to do so many of the Riddler’s challenges for the secret ending. 😩
seeing the toxin making veins all swollen, I feel sorry for batman's kidneys
11:00 This is too hard to watch right now 🖤🙏🏾🦇
Alfred: It needs voice confirmation master Bruce.
Batman: Martha
Superman who heard it from Metropolis: How do you know that name!?
Stfu with this stupid joke already bruh, it ain't funny
I remember watching this live on tv. Nobody suspected Bruce Wayne.
Hell of a game, truly the arkham series must be one of the best trilogys in all media
All this time I thought It was Harvey Dent, thanks for uploading this
Does harvey dent have abs tho?
