What exactly do you mean corruption",?-It can mean everything and anything from rusting to accepting bribes, what do you seek to convey when youse the word corruption or are you merely using it as a cognate of diddums-doesn't-like- it?-or more simply you call anything you don't like corruption, which makes it a net that will catch all or any fish, thus it becomes meaningless unless you are specific; broadly speaking Xis " corrupt" if and only if he accepts bribes, but if you use it as a blanket catch-all term it loses all meaning. You need to understand that if everything and everyone is corrupt, then necessarily nothing and no-one is corrupt wonder if you*can* understand that. If you use words indiscriminately, you convey or communicate nothing. What*in particular* is called corruption "everywhere else in the world"?-Anything you(who have never visited "everywhere else it the world")don't like?
You clearly have not the faintest idea what you mean by " corruption" and you are about to demonstrate that by signally failing to set out what you-and only you, mean by corruption, which you cannot do because you have absolutely no ide what the word means.

Mostly the truth. Agree with a lot of stuff she said, but not the bit about Jeremy Corbyn. Blending him into the Russian background, like he was part of it, the clothes he was wearing (especially the hat), making the clothes darker, and choosing a picture of him with a serious look on his face. All little tricks to imply he's got some connection to Russia.

It’s certainly become almost impossible to call the BBC “lefties” these days, what with the Director General being a former Tory councillor, yes he had worked for the BBC prior to being DG but as a marketing guy which says it all. At least the prior DG didn’t have such blatant links with the Tories, despite having typical Tory background- Oxbridge graduate in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. He at least worked his way up through the BBC from being a trainee rather than being effectively parachuted in to the top job.

well said Emily ,To put into context, The BBC is currently headed by a former Conservative councillor, regulated by a Conservative Peer, chaired by a Conservative Party donor, and whose CEO is the partner of the Conservative Director of Communications. Robbie Gibb was in charge of the BBC Political output during the time of Referendum and is well known as a hard Brexiteer. He is one of the people who was involved in the set up of GB News. The BBC goes well out of its way to avoid any mentions of Brexit as being a contributing factor to the issues we are experiencing.

No. The failure of the Remain side to argue persuasively for why we should "Remain" led to Brexit. Whether that is because the arguments cannot be made or because the "Remainers" are idiots I will leave up to you to determine, but how many people have you convinced of anything by treating them with contempt, patronising them, and accusing them of bigotry? I'd wager none. Given how close the vote was, how could it not be right that the BBC give those from both sides equal prominence in the debate? It is catastrophic for the BBC and our democracy when they distort the public's perception of news and politics.

@@mr.mrs.d.7015 but i can see day to day people don’t agree with the government and see through their lies. There are some who avoid politics which is good and bad as when you need them most they aren’t there to help as they are disconnected or unknowingly pick the wrong side. Then there are blind supporters who do make it feel like fascism is at play. I think there is more to all of this than most will think. Its weird how many ties our country’s top government has to Oligarchs, news paper companies, or other large scale companies which control large public services. Stuff we have to survive and thrive (energy the heart of any country) as we can see now even food is starting go become a lower priority for some households to survive and they are at the whims of some energy company saying ‘you have to pay’ with no sight of lowering or capping of energy prices. 1 month they can afford a full fridge, fresh clothes and maybe the odd outing. However, the next month they to make a 50/50 choice of what they can buy, either one being detrimental if they can’t. That is not called living, that is not a sign of a developed country, that is not patriotic!
That is slowly becoming shackles around the general public and it might not completely be similar to communistic countries but sure as hell looks like its heading in that direction.
The fact that certain high ranking conservative members were asking for human right laws to be change, yes they said it was to give more control over immigrants and rights protecting them. But do you really believe other rights wouldn’t be stripped away? They do it all the time. Plain example was lowering tax but increasing national insurance so realistically they actually take more (as people who weren’t in the tax bracket cos they couldn’t afford to be still paid out more. Then they blindsided everyone by making tax lower on companies but nobody else.
Each day i think i’m either going crazy or the general public doesn’t give a sh*t about whats happening to them and just allowing it to happen ‘your British, just chin up and put up with it’ its not right and more needs to be done. Some point riots will be the only answer

The problem with that is that there was a tiny grain of truth to them and both the Tories and some of the labour party used that against the party. Some in labour wanted to lose and people could see it.
Saying this gives me no pleasure, many on the Corbyn side of the party, and I include myself among his supporters, are continuing the circular firing squad.

Trump can hijack America if enough Americans want him to, but how we in the UK have allowed this monstrous state of affairs to develop right in front of our eyes over the past seven years is beyond me.
