    Boris Johnson is the definition of a sociopath.
    A “sociopath” has little regard for another person's emotions, rights, or experiences. They lack remorse for their actions, and they act in ways that show no regard for others, including lying, cheating, and manipulating. Some people with this condition aren't very sly about their conduct. Others are quite deceptive.

      WE have been saying that since before the Thatcher time, when the Labour government attacked our Jobs by buying foreign instead of British, then inflation was above 15%. There were some real awful sex scandals and BS back then, the whole country went on strike against that witch's pole tax and in favour of a 37-hour working week and better pay/conditions, we got both and then the toryturds started the campaign to kill our unions, they knew united we were strong, not like now with all the whinny loony minorities being pandered to and the working people fragmented. What enrages me and saddens me, particularly because he still remembers it over 40 years later, but sadly does not surprise me is the abuse that the poor lad attending for his interviews suffered at his hands in the bar. I can imagine it all too well.
    What is truly frightening about this is that although we, the people, can do nothing about him until the next general election, the conservative MPs with full knowledge of this did not vote to oust him when they had the opportunity. That of itself speaks volumes about the type of government we have and the party of government we have. And, if it is to be believed, they did not vote to get rid of him because donors said that they would not continue to give money to the Party if they got rid of him. Utterly shameful. I once wondered where the nickname Tory came from and when I found out, it all made sense.
      Origin of the word 'Tory' - Definitions from Oxford Languages.
      mid 17th century: probably from Irish toraidhe ‘outlaw, highwayman’, from tóir ‘pursue’. The word was used of Irish peasants dispossessed by English settlers and living as robbers, and extended to other marauders especially in the Scottish Highlands. It was then adopted c. 1679 as an abusive nickname for supporters of the Catholic James II.
      ...It was then adopted by a political party of Bullingdon Boys that showed absolute disdain for the people who's blood, sweat and tears kept their country bumpin' along.

      That’s not to say that most people in the UK are like that, they are not. But a slim majority of the current generation of people who are entitled to vote definitely are, and when they fuck up they do what all entitled and delusional people do, they blame something else, like the ‘political system’

I stopped voting some years ago after discovering a number of interesting things about politicians, Tory and Labour.

In my opinion and based on personal experiences Johnson is not by any means the only liar in British politics, even though he 'might' be the most prolific. Politics attracts the wrong sort of people for a number of reason, one is the 'power' thing, another is ego and then you can add the psychological make up of the individual seeking public office.

    • @BigStib
      @BigStib 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Not Presidency. The Queen is the Sovereign. Johnson was Prime Minister/First Lord of the Treasury which traditionally is first among equals of the members of the Cabinet of Government Ministers, who are the Queen's Ministers and supervise the Executive/Civil Service. It has been this way since the early C18th (and is one reason there was not, in fact, a tyrant on the British throne when the Colonials committed treason with the French, who were at the time actually ruled by a tyrant, in 1776). The job goes to the leader of the political party which has a majority (or, rarely, the leader who can build one in coalition, if required) in the House of Commons. Johnson got the job because the Conservative Party made him their leader, and, at the last General Election, the Conservatives won the most seats. That's why he is lying (natch) when he talks about being mandated by x million to be their leader. He wasn't.

      Nothing to do with stupidity. In the US it was Trump vs Clinton. In the UK it was Boris vs Corbyn. Not hard to understand how both countries got to where they ended up. The problem is the quality of people putting themselves forward as political candidates, and I daresay the failure of political parties to deny unsuitable people the opportunity to run for them - though if they did so, they'd be reducing the number of potential winning candidates. In my opinion, in the grand scheme of things, none of Boris' misdemeanours were hugely serious - rather failures of judgement and character, nothing malicious or criminal.

      I think it's just a case of a load of gutless yes-men who are too afraid to stick their necks out, combined with self-obsessed sycophants who will hitch their wagon to whoever and whatever they feel will keep them on the gravy train. Of course, we mustn't forget the bereft of thought dweebs who still think he got Brexit done and that it is an advantageous position.

    I wish every citizen of the UK could see this. How can someone incapable of being faithful to his wives be supported by so called Conservatives..? ever heard of family values? It is nothing but a tragedy that someone so immoral, immature and reckless rose all the way to Prime Minister without being stopped..
