Beyoncé’s G5 actually was not supported at all. It was well executed with good vocal placement though but support was not present on that G5.

Dont forget to consider the fact that Bey’s scale was mostly in the 4th octave, she was only hitting a G5 to make the scale more interesting. All the attention of Tori’s scale was mostly in the 5th octave, she was completely focusing on her G5 and made it sound powerful with a glissando build up and a more chesty mix
