Thank you! I'm glad I could help!
I guess you technically could if you had a wireless from the guitar to the Amplug and then have a bluetooth transmitter with a 3.5mm plug sending to your headphones. Now as far as a phone is concerned, you could plug that directly into the Amplug, or I suppose you could run bluetooth from the phone to a transmitter that has a 3.5mm. That's a whole lot of fuckery, but then you could just walk around the house with your guitar and phone....technology!

This is an amazing product and the metal one is the most versatile from the series as it is able to play anything from sweet crystal cleans to heavy heavy distortion and basically cover any guitarist's needs. I'm thinking of buying another one to implant it into an old guitar along with a jbl go pocket speaker and make a portable electric guitar ready to go.

I never got why they put the cord input on the front of the guitar, so close to other knobs and the tremolo bar. It's so inconvenient. You always feel the pull from the cable like this, I don't get it. Mine has it on the bottom, like around the corner of where your shown heavy guitar has it.

I'm trying really hard to find a reason not to buy this for practicing. I only found 1 reason that is a very low compromise: not having a true clean sound. Now I found a second reason: This retail packaging, for a 40€ product, is not in ratio of the value of this little beast of an amp, lol.

I am a beginner (played a bit some 20 yrs ago) and considering a esp ltd fc-10 guitar and this to learn the basics and play a bit for fun during this pandemic. Is this a good choice? Do I need anything else, besides guitar, vox amp2 and headphone? Im just looking to learn the basics and play over some metal.

    • @jimgriffin3904

Nope, that is literally all you need: guitar, Amplug, and headphones. It is DEFINITELY a good choice for when you are in your learning stages, especially if you live with other people.
By the way, I'm going to be uploading a series of beginner guitar videos soon that break things down to HOPEFULLY foolproof detail. Be on the lookout for those VERY soon, and good luck in your guitar journey.

The LTD base models are great, man!
Save up your funds for one, or, you can also go to Guitar Center’s website to scout out used versions of the guitar you’re looking for as well.
If you have the opportunity, you might pick up an LTD model with the “50” number in the model name.
Those models have the LH-150 pickups, which sound a bit better for metal than the LH-100 pickups that are in the “10” models.
      Either way is ok, though.
The necks on those LTD guitars feel great to me! 🤘🏻

Nothing to do with the product itself but everyone can see the mindless amount of air in the delivery package and think the CO2 amount of transportation of product which can be put in a pocket. Crazy world nowadays. But yes...this amp is great. I already have AC30 model and think of getting this one too.

    "You can't please everybody, right?"
That statement is probably one of the most important and least remembered adages of our age. Society would be quite different if we all remembered this, and acted in the interests of the majority, instead of the loudest voices. Sorry, but it struck me.

You can trash Marshall till the cows come home and have a point! Their mobile amps are complete trash. There's a budget brand amp for half of the price that has a 3" speaker and the same features. It comes with distortion, instead of gain, so it gets heavy on lower volume, while the Marshall sounds like you are destroying glass with plastic tubes. Of course, all these tiny amps sound like cheap, tiny amps, but if you put your brand name, at a high brand price on it, you better deliver something worth it, or don't make it at all. My first E-Guitar came as set with the stacked version of this Marshall amp, and 2x2,7" speakers. It's horrible. When making the amp loud enough to overcome your string noises, it's blaring like crazy and sounds just plain cheap. If you play it on lower volumes, you get to hear your plain string noises+cheap and crappy low volume amp noises, so a loss for everyone. For about 100 bucks, you already get practice amps with a speaker that is capable of producing decent sound at home practicing volume, so I have no idea why these tiny crap amps are made, it's a rip off!
Don't ever buy these tiny amps, unless you just want something to put on a shelf as a looker for guests.
