    Nice car. Not quite a C1 but looks nice nonetheless 😊

      Thanks. I’m getting about 35mpg or so combined after changing the injectors. Was down at about 28 before, but I’m not a very economic driver haha

    I used REVIVE on my 530d E61 recently, it made a huge difference - so much so that the MoT examiner thought his emmissions machine was buggered as the reading was so low.. Excellent stuff.

      I used it again recently on a Volvo D5 with boost issues, and it actually fixed the problem. Nearly knackered the engine in the process of doing it though! Here’s the video if you’re interested

    About to try this on my E46 320d that's losing power at full throttle, and I might give it a go on my 1.9 TDI Leon thats nearing 170k miles 😂 what's the worst that could happen 👀

      The vag turbos are known to get sticky so could well notice an improvement on that. Check the vacuum lines on the 320d

      Good stuff. The VAG stuff seems to be most prone to the vanes sticking from what I’ve researched.

    Rather than theorizing about the potential easing efficiency of the turbo solenoid valve, the best way to find out is to disassemble the turbo before, and after cleaning with this product. One man on youtube did it on Range Rover, comparison before/after verdict: pretty much the same result...

      If I was gonna go to the effort of taking the turbo off, it would be to fit a bigger turbo

      @@StupidBlokeStupidVideos And you will no longer be up to standard or covered by insurance in the event of an accident.
      For the effort required to dismantle it... 4 bolts on my car and 8 for the collector, turbo easy to access.

      @@StupidBlokeStupidVideos I wonder why we would want to clean a dirty turbo, if we can afford to change it for a bigger one, for sure, everyone changes their dirty turbo for a new one

    • @StupidBlokeStupidVideos
      @StupidBlokeStupidVideos  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@leo197777 not so much. I’m on a trade policy that insures me to drive pretty much anything, the car is already running about 100bhp over stock. I’ve considered getting a bigger turbo or having mine rebuilt with a bigger compressor wheel etc. It’s about £600 or so, which isn’t bad but I can’t see myself getting the time to remove it any time soon

      @@StupidBlokeStupidVideos In fact my turbo is dirty as well as the exhaust (without fap car from 1993), it is easily disassembled, but the exhaust manifold is not, because of the bolts behind it. I was wondering if there was a solution to clean it without disassembling, finally, I think it's better. Apart from this, I made an estimate at a turbo preparer known on the web at 570€ for the upgrade from 20 to 30hp only. I don't need more, I want to keep my engine for a long time and not have to do all the adjustments that would require the installation of a bigger turbo. It is a 2.5L turbo diesel with cascade gear distribution drive. It is difficult to obtain values for this engine, which has probably never been prepared. Too bad it has 120hp but they are present, I think 150 could give it a facelift, it's a Lancia Thema.

    I have a Focus CC 2.0TDCi 2007, it feels like the power kicks in and immediately drops off then comes in small surges in higher gears.
    I have noticed a few bubbles in the clear fuel pipe, would a blocked fuel filter cause the bubbles and this problem?
    A friend suggested it could be soot build up in the turbo and to try this stuff as he used it and got good results.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

    • @StupidBlokeStupidVideos
      @StupidBlokeStupidVideos  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s not uncommon to see the odd bubble in the fuel pipes tbh. Usually low fuel pressure will show a fault if that was the issue. No harm in trying this stuff, let us know how you get on with it
