Hey Arc, love the channel and I find it extremely useful and handy for new players getting into stuff like ctgp and wiimmfi. but I was wondering if maybe you could start a series where you take a look at tracks individually and explain the many strategies you can use on them? for example good places to use items, shortcuts, preferred vehicles for different strats on the track, etc.. I'd like to see this since it's a concept that hasn't been utilized a lot for some reason as most mkwii youtubers focus on tech that can be used in many different tracks and not track specific techniques. it was an idea I had and I just thought that it was a pretty neat suggestion.
(TLDR at bottom) 5:52 and 6:15. Do NOT get a HDMI adaptor, they suck. They almost always add noticeable lag. Get Wii component cables, the ones with 5 coloured cables (green, blue and red for video, white and red for audio). If your tv has component inputs, plug it straight into your tv and forget about it. If your tv only has HDMI (which is getting more and more common these days), the cheapest option is a Portta component to HDMI converter. The best options are either a Retrotink2x pro multiformat (cheaper) or an OSSC (more versatile). These are probably overkill if you only have a Wii, so I'd recommend a Portta adaptor if that's all you use it for. If you have multiple consoles, I recommend either of the other 2. If you're really all about that quality go for the WiiDual (mentioned in the video) but this is extremely expensive, and you need a specific Wii model, so it's not for everyone. TLDR: 1. Component cables are best for 480p on the Wii. 2. If your tv doesn't have component inputs, get component cables and a Portta Component to HDMI.

I've recently started to get back into playing Mario Kart Wii casually, trying to all the cups on my Wii U. I haven't really been thinking about getting into the competitive scene very much, but what I have done was try playing the game online with randoms via Wiimmfi. Suffice to say, I'm not very good at it (probably because I can never play with any control option other than the wii wheel), but I don't care, it's so much fun. Also, thanks for the recommendation on the Wii HDMI adapter! And a memory card... man why'd they have to make it so convoluted lol edit: forgot to mention but i love your voice haha

Hi, I'm playing on dolphin, I wanted help about some things. I'm practicing for a new shortcut, and wanted to save a moment in the lap so that if I fail I can respawn in one second before my shortcut so I can practice faster, instead of failing and lose 15 seconds each time, I'm pretty sure I already saw someone doing that, saving the run and having checkpoints when it's convenient. Also, do people here know if it's possible to get speedometer in dolphin ? Because I feel like my wheelie speed isn't at its maximum (probably my controller which is old, is at fault) and I'd like to check that by myself. Thank's for the help !

I have a Wii that runs perfect in every aspect except reading discs. I have a copy of Mario Kart Wii, is there any way to revive or work around this, or do I need to just get a new Wii?

I use an RCA to HDMI adapter to connect my wii to my TV (which doesn’t have RCA ports) but there ends up being a lot of input lag (versus just using the RCA cables on an older TV with RCA ports) Is there a way to fix this?

How are you so good at outside drifting and is it worth picking up an outside drifting vehicle?
You mean karting? Karting has it's own sub niche in mkwii that if you're interested in playing it, yeah it's worth it.... But only if you want to play karts.

I have a Wii that runs perfect in every aspect except reading discs. I have a copy of Mario Kart Wii, is there any way to revive or work around this, or do I need to just get a new Wii?
the only way is likely swapping the disc drive with a new one, assuming that the drive controller works properly.

I always get error 86420 when im playing online! Can anyone help withan easy method to fix this?
Inside mrbean's discord server there's a error code checker, but for you 86420 is a network related issue, in particular when it comes to connecting from peer to peer. If you know how to port forward your router that is said to help, but I've never done it before.
@@Arcintel Thanks! I'll try!
