Yeah that will definitely go down as one of the best camps for sure. I’m not sure mate, after spending some time there I definitely think the rivers are heavily affected by the netters. Glad you enjoyed it brother

Hey guys, where from and how or where were they gathering the shellfish that created the middens? Is it still done for traditional reasons? Given all the crocs that might be a story in itself.
Collected straight out of that river, rocks in the area and low tide out on the flats I’d say. The majority of the local indigenous live in town these days so the middens are more than likely not used anymore. Iv found a few over the years which indicate you’re in a pretty amazing place.
I've seen a 5 metre croc stand nearly on its tail to get a chicken tied to the end of a stick. Was filmed in slow motion and was still a blur. I don't think you're shelter is going to cut it.
Great episode guys, what an adventure. I had a thought that you should sell a place on your trips to a patreon or a super fan. $1,000 bucks a trip, or something around that price, you would have people queuing up to get involved and live an adventure with you guys. It would be great content for the rest of us too, getting to meet like minded people on their shared experience with you guys.
@@WildReaches I reckon it would be such a blast, the only obvious issue in my head would be insurance, however as long as they get heir own insurance for the trip - happy days! Wow some fantastic fishing there guys .... another episode i thoroughly enjoyed .... brought back some memories of my old days from townsville camping a bit north of it and setting hammocks minimum 6 feet off the ground ... 1st night getting too drunk to make it to the hammocks ... and wake up next day seeing where the crocs had been in the camp LOL ... for the rest of the time there didnt matter how drunk we got we all made it to the hammocks hahahaha ... looked like an awesome feast as well Guys great stuff keep up the great work

Well guys this was brilliant just getting better and better. The barra dish served up at the end in a restaurant would cost a fortune!. As you know Nat we try to live the dream, you got me in trouble with Cheryl this week I tried to find wild tucker on the a tree, unfortunately I stripped the chocolate baubles of the Christmas Tree🙄didn't go down well, especially after spending all week building an Airfix helicopter (my drone) and getting it caught up in the Christmas decs, oh dear, oh dear....Never mind looking forward to seeing you guys next week, take care from the UK. ☃😂

They get the propulsion through their tail in the water though. Pretty sure they can’t stand on their tail on the ground 🤔
