You don't service the high side just the low side when putting refrigerant in the truck. Low side is well in the good range. So found out it was the compressor was the problem not contacting so I fixed it with a screw. From others they said it works, good enough for them and I. 😎
@@svenhansen9618 I took HVAC in school been running this this way for 3 years now and no problems. in the fall I take the screw out of it till the next summer. I drive no more than 30 miles away and if you are worried about the condenser freezing on the cooler summer days then put the fan on 1 with a tad bit of heat just enough to not feel uncomfortable. But I don't bother and 3 years going strong and like I said take the screw out in the fall when you don't need it! 😎👍

What is your high side pressure reading? There is no way to turn it off when it gets to high. Boom!!!!

By doing that your AC can't cycle so it will overheat or cause your condenser to freeze up.
