- The cap strips on the wings will need to be reinforced to prevent problems with the fabric pulling too hard. Josh will show you how it's done.

Let’s talk more about that bandsaw. I’m setting up my shop for an upcoming build and didn’t want to spend $1000 plus on a metal cutting bandsaw. Your option looks great. Swag off-road tools even sales a miter table and foot switch to mount a variety of portable bandsaws to. I went down to Home Depot and was ready to make the bandsaw purchase but realized Milwaukee doesn’t sell a blade for it that they recommend for aluminum. I’m sure someone makes one . I’m guessing the blade speed is a little slow for the softer metals? What tooth per inch blade are you using? Can it be used to cut a mild radius, like a panel? Thanks for posting in Steve’s absence 👍
We will be making a video about the bandsaw hopefully soon! That was Josh’s creation and it works great! The guys use it all the time. Thanks for watching. -Sara
Adam Savage has a similar setup, with homemade stand. There’s a full build video if you search 🙂
How rugged is the superstol xl??? is it comparable to a supercub or a bearhawk patrol? or the airframe is weaker
