  • Spring 2024 in the UK has been very wet, this is the van set up for lawn care and gardening that has kept me busy, productive and efficient. As we head into summer some of these tools will change with the hopefully drier weather to further improve what we do.
    Thanks for watching.

    Nice, smart setup…I’m very similar . On my mowing days I’ve got 3 mowers, 2 strimmers and blowers and on hedgecutting days multiple cutters are with me too. My dad was in the garden maintenance business and he always said take out 2/3 mowers, 2/3 hedgecutters so you don’t have to worry in case any issues when you’re out so u don’t waste time and can crack on. And yep, everything’s locked away at night👍🏼

    Nathan I keep 3 of everything in my van incase I have any breakdowns on site. Fire the breakdown into the back and straight back into action. I keep my van alarmed aswell fella.
    Great set up.

    Having watched many of your videos and you singing the praise of Etesia I bought a Pro 51x earlier this year, been a god send on the wet grass although does mark a little when the ground is soft. I'd be interested to see a overview video on the Pro 53 if you do get one. I've done my first round of mowing today with back out with the Honda Pro (roller version) and will be sticking with this now on domestic jobs, keeping the Etesia for commercial sites and wet weather days... as you've said the collection particularly in the wet of Etesia is unmatched!

    Just a word of warning nath the etesia pro 53 is a great mower but… if the hydro pump goes wrong it’s scrap mate it’s mega expensive to replace… but if you buy new then you should be covered with a good warranty 😊 so just something to think about. 👍 plus I was wondering where you can get replacement brushes from for the moss brush Hyundai am in need of some 😮….

    Nathan, may i ask how you find the battery blower BGA 200 ? with the backpack battery, is it a pain in the arse when just wanting to do bits or do you use a smaller blower for quick jobs ? want to upgrade handheld blower to AP system but battery life is shit , i guess if using all battery kit just switching the cord from one to another isn’t a big issue, also which battery do you use and any good ? sorry for all the questions, big outlay if a pain in the arse 😂

    • @LewisgardenservicesLtd
      @LewisgardenservicesLtd  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Mine is the older model and has been great, I find the battery lasts ok for just going around after regular maintenance but would drain battery on the big jobs. I've the ap300s running my strimmer and trimmers mostly now and the ar3000 backpack runs the blower, only charge it every 2 or 3 days using it with the blower and we rattle through a few maintenance jobs. Takes no time to sling backpack over one shoulder and tidy up, cost is a consideration but I've added to what I've got over the last 4 years

      It's a French manufacturer, not sure if they're in America but a few of us use them who see the cost as something worth paying for a solid little mower.What are you using ? Cheers

  • @fleischersgrasscuttingserv6441
    @fleischersgrasscuttingserv6441 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Sorry, I am American so maybe I missed an important point: but you take it all out and out it all back because...of ..what? I live in London, so would assume theft (because the police couldn't care less about tool robbery). But is that a problem - in Wales?🤔🫣

    • @LewisgardenservicesLtd
      @LewisgardenservicesLtd  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's a problem everywhere unfortunately, probably more so here. I wouldn't leave any kit on the van, had a van nicked years and even replacing the hand tools and mower boxes was a pain. As usual insurance for the vans worth wanted to screw us over and the police weren't remotely interested 🙄
