The carbon was the first nfs I played and the sound of the LMQ was what made me love that car more than normal, even more than the M3 of the MW... But if I had to take a sound from all the nfs it would be hands down the LFA of the MW2012 or the World
I think it's all on criterion, criterion has literally nailed the sound design on every game they have made or collabed with..If you aren't impressed enough, you should go and play burnout paradise, although its not a game as much centered on street racing like nfs, my god the sound on every single car on that game was eargasm. One car I'd like to especially call out on that game is the Krieger 616 sport. Although sadly this game doesn't have licensed cars but this game did a phenomenal job at making their own designs, the supercars in the game are just beautiful to look at, Although there's many to mention when it comes to that, One of my top picks would be the Rossolini Tempesta, You can go and google it if you want but looking at it ingame is a whole different experience, it sounds amazing as well. I really do recommend you to try out burnout paradise just for the driving physics and just the peak of the quality of cars there are in the game
I wish the Team Need for Speed cars from Shift 2 would make a return to the franchise but unfortunately licensing issues will prevent that from ever happening.
i love nfs carbon except that gloomy vignette style. i always had to turn up the brightness. nfsu1 would be perfect if only they got the engine sounds right like in nfsu 2
what a decline over the years Carbon, MW, MW12, Prostreet, Shift all had some of the best of the best. not saying Unbound and Heat doesn’t, Heat has some good ones too but it seemed like the worse ones out of the games listed would be much better than the worse ones in the new generation NFS games
I... don't really agree with you. While I won't deny that older Nfs games has some superior ones, newer ones don't suck at all. How about Rivals or Hot Pursuit? Unbound and Heat don't sound bad at all. You want actual bad nds sounds? Go to Nfs2015 or No Limits.
Most old games used sound files for cars that didn't match or simply copied from another car, so it's not exactly all that crazy to say that old games didn't have as much quality or quantity of sounds compared to modern games.
Nice video as always, quick tip, you can enter an online friend sesion on your own in NFS MW 2012, and have freeroam without cops, and a little bit less traffic! Also, i recomend you to try the NFS MW 2005 Xbox 360 Graphics mod, makes the game look waaaay better, its not too complicated, just make sure to read carefully in how to install, and i assure you it will be worth it. cheers
@@elionthatblock9612More like he just has his own opinion. If anything the M3 GTR sounds really mean in Heat. Plus, the V10 swapped Aventador S actually sounds pretty close to an LFA.
8:02 the brap brap brap rotor idle on RX7 🔥
4:16 the Carrera GT getting passed by the Evo is absolutely humorous
Ah yes the exact color and car that killed Paul Walker

Personally, M3 GTR from Heat sounds cool as heck.
That's my favorite
in nfs unbound i swaped bmw m3 gtr engine into 911 targa 4 gts, being naturally aspirated it's just singing
not as cool as nfsmw one

early 2010s nfs engine sound is a special place to my heart
I remember when nfs used to actually nail these engine sounds, now it’s an EA micro transaction wasteland 😢
One thing's got nothing to do with the other. Also recent NFS games still have some eargasmic engine sounds.
The only NFS with microtransactions (besides "No Limits") was NFS Payback
Modern NFS games still have decent engine sound effects.
@@Matt_STSNo, NFS World before shutdown had micro-transactions.
@@Victor_2000s indeed. Completely forgot about that one though. But just like no limits, its not a mainline NFS
7:23 that cuda brutal asf

That nxs in NFS prostreet 🤤🤤🤤
lol
Oh, that challenger with supercharger was awesome to hear like something out of mad max or fast and furious 😅😅.
Cant believe you didn't add the LFA from rivals. That thing sounds beautiful!
Best lfa sound is the mw2012 version hands down

Всё из новых частей, в NFS4 (ps1 version) у многих машин звук лучше чем у большинства в этом топе. Не стоит упускать 6 частей серии до андеграунда!

The Criterion Need For Speeds have the best engine sound

Old NFS generations have better down shift sounds!
Need for speed usually nails the sounds always perfectly
Premium gtr from Payback sounds identical to the gtr in Forza Horizon 3 and 4.
amazing video boss
Thank you 🙂
I would have put the Zonda Cinque in there instead of the Sesto Elemento from NFS hot pursuit remastered
NfS CARBON the Best Sounding NfS
Longer videos of engine sound are good :)
you put in ford gt again
So the 440hp 3.5l v6 from nfs heat doesn’t exist?
