You saved me starting a whole new comment list here. And I don't mean to sound angry by saying the coming list. I guess/understand there are either limitations on obtainable footage/games/licences etc, or the fact he doesn't want to make this video too long, or want to limit the number of times a platform is repeated which could be a reason why these games were left out. But I do want to say before I list my excellent damage model candidates, that Underground 1 and 2 and Most Wanted could have been left out imho as they technically only have scratches and broken windscreens at best in terms of their 'damage' to a car. So I mostly grew up with the OG Xbox so I can't tell what I don't know or forgot from that period, but here are a few. The Colin Mcrae Rally 03, 04 and 05, RalliSport Challenge 1 and 2, the precursor to Forza--> Project Gotham Racing 2, 3 and 4 (at least the damage model in that game wasn't neutered as in Forza). Same with the Speed Challenges and Top Speed Runs in Pro Street, a single mistake and byebye, the feeling of speed in those events were absolutely amazing.
Flatout games are really underrated. the crash physics is top tier, the game modes are great like Derby and Stunt. the 3 class of vehicles (Derby, Race, and Street) have great selections of vehicles, and the best of all, the AI racers are amazing for a game of its time, since every racers have different behaviors. for example: Jack Benton & Sofia Martinez are always the fastest and usually ends up on top 3 Frank Malcov is a total beast especially in derby Ray Carter is so laid back that he usually ends in last place Jason Walker, Katie Jackson, and Sally Taylor are pretty much randomized
FlatOut 2, Grid, the Burnout series, Driver: San Francisco, and Blur always had the most special crash physics, in my eyes. Just looking at these types brings me back!

The games with unlicensed vehicles like Burnout, Flatout featured the best body damage and crash physics i ever see, sadly the same can't be applied to racing games with unlicensed cars due of the manufaturers rigit rules about body damage.
Burnout 3 without a doubt has the best crashes because of how stupid and fun they look and even more so when they explode with large vehicles or fall from very high places.

Because well they're legal racing games, and that's a lot easier to convince them, since crashing is a main point of motorsport + not road legal car ( most of them ) , so however someone sees it , dislike it or not it doesn't matter, he won't be able to drive it anyway
You should include Midnight Club 2 on the list, the bumpers can fall off from the cars and they can blow up, those elements was removed on Midnight Club 3 because they featured licensed vehicles.
