  • 'Pride in Battle' is the epic story of the rapidly growing Xakanaxa pride as it battles to survive through one of the Okavango's harshest winters. Twenty-one adults and cubs now make up the group, and because of such a rapid expansion in their numbers, the adults concentrate their hunting efforts on the prey guaranteed to provide the most food.

Likewise.. Why it's so satisfying is because it's a rare sight.. Fathers are seldom around in general.. The present of a father in a child's life is so essential.. I've got nieces and nephews, and I've seen how beneficial my present as a male figure in their lives is, especially in the disciplinary department.. I don't use physical force on them btw..

@@spaceartist1272 That's not love you have, that's cruelty.. Even though it's just their nature, but why would a human find pleasure in when other male lions are usurping another pride, they would kill the cubs of that pride?? How is that any fun to see babies being killed??

The level of communication between lionnesses on a hunt without one word being spoken is almost frightening. Its so amazing how they learn how to flank prey and how to ambush successfully. • @justdev8965

It wasn't just dying! It was being eaten alive while still aware. That's completely different from merely dying. All because of the evil entities that designed and made this stupid, grotesque dimension. I swear I want to make our creator suffer like the elephant cub. We all should want to!

@@justdev8965 the people who filmed this documentary had nothing to do with those elephants who were eaten by the lions. If you're talking about the fact that th ey didn't intervene, I've been told that in some instances they are forbidden from intervening when they are allowed to film the documentary. Also, not intervening is the right thing to do. If they would have saved the elephants then the lions, all of them to be exact, would have surely starved to death. The elephants are no more important than the lions. If they would not have been there to film it, the lions still would have eaten the elephants. You just would not have known anything about it. Don't let the fact that you so not witness it on a daily basis sheild your mind from the fact that lions eat elephants every season when the buffalo migrate out of their territory. Prior to th buffalo migrating out of the lions' territory it is the buffalo who are eaten. In between seasons when the buffalo are gone and the lions aren't eating the elephants the lions starve to death. That is just the way it is and the way it had been for hundreds of years whether there is a documentary film crew there to film it all or not and whether you have a problem with it or not. Do not blame the film crew for not intervening when you're just upset with the highs and lows of nature. It's what it is.

These documentaries are absolutely fascinating. These felines continue on whether request or hunting, and the killing to feed their young and themselves. They hardships through the seasons, but yet they do endure and keep on, and live, and learn and succeed if they do.

Lions are cool... But Cape Buffalo are amazing. They are truly about family in ways that lions never will be. 💖

Leo taking a swipe at one of the big male lions in the beginning while eating cracks me up, but always serves as a great reminder that no matter how tiny and cute, they are truly wild animals with those fierce wild animal instincts from the get go.

When they showed the scene of the cub on the branch in the middle of the buffalo herd I was like “That’s Leo!!” I can’t remember what his brother name was but I think it started with a M.

Excellent documentary . Some of these are just plain bad, poorly produced, but this one is well done. ya gotta give it to these lions. Being desperate made them resourceful & this, allowed life to continue. i give the group who made this, filmed it, & edited it, an A+ . I hope to see more. -------------------ML, 76 y/o

Can you upload black Lion documentary from Ethiopia? I think they only found in Ethiopia. Anyways, i'm thrilled to know about them. It's said they're the strongest Lion from Lion species. I'm thrilled to know more about them.

It's in the omo nogob basin we have the only mountain elephant on earth as well as the black Lion and to this day it amazes no one have the interest to document them like this our lion species are also more stronger than those in the wild reserves as they are renowned camel and giraffe killers
